A Mover's Maid, Inc.

I hired this company to clean my house for out of town company. I made arrangements far in advance and the cleaning crew arrived about an hour late on the assigned day. I found the quality of cleaning to be very inconsistent. Some areas were cleaned beautifully and absolutely sparkled. Other areas were neglected but I didn't notice until later. There was dust on the chandelier in the dining room which I didn't notice until we were eating dinner that night. I did make one complaint on the day of service and feel that one of the workers retaliated by stuffing the green cleaning cloths in my garbage disposal. I couldn't understand why my garbage disposal wouldn't work and my husband reached in and pulled out the cleaning cloths/scrubbies. I don't use that brand so there was only one way they could have gotten in the disposal. She also forced the knobs onto the stove the wrong way which was kind of unbelievable since they will slip on easily when put on the correct way. I hate to leave a review that is less than positive but I think the quality you get depends on the particular crew assigned on a given day. The owner of the company is very nice and I am sure she would have come back out to fix the problems but it was too late to call her when we were sitting at the dinner table.

We contacted A Mover's Maid on short notice with a good sized project. They were quick,courteous, and did a great job! It is a pleasure to find such a good company among the many not so good ones out there. Thanks a million!

I called A Mover's Maid to come in and clean after I'd already paid one of the top-rated residential cleaners to clean. I should have paid the 50.00 extra for A Mover's Maid in the first place. I didn't tell them any of my issues with the first cleaners, but when they got finished, it looked awesome! NO dust on the blinds or sills, the inside of the oven was shiny, all the grimy buildup on the floor was gone and they even cleaned the porch lights.

I couldn't believe an empty house could look so good! The tub has never been so clean. My regular maid has always said "that's as clean as it will come", but these guys kept at it until it sparkled. I thought they were very affordable for the time that they spent.

Other folks have commented on what a good job this company does, but I thought I'd comment on their process. They came in with assigned equipment and assigned places within the house. They had pretreated cleaning cloths for metal fixutes, spray marble cleaner, goo gone, a handbook of what to use on particular countertops and even special glass cleaning cloths. Oh, the big winner was that they had special mops for my wood floors and lots of extra cloths for the end of the mop, so that they were never using a dirty ones. There were no one-armed cleaners on the phone and no smoke breaks. There was no chit chatting with my other contractors and no sloppy work. Needless to say, they impressed me before they even started and did an AWESOME job with everything. I told the cleaners they did a great job, but someone still called me before they ran my credit card to make sure there wasn't anything they overlooked.
