Could Have Be Better, 12/08/2008

The latch on our car door was jammed so I looked in phone book and their ad caught my eye: Always Open & Always Have Truck In Your Area. I called and talked to a guy who answered it sounded like I... woke him up because he didn't quite get what I was trying to explain as my problem. He said the tech would be there in 30 mins, it was actually more like 45 mins. No cost or payment options were discussed on the phone just when tech would be here. When he (the tech) arrived he looked at my problem and quote the price $85.00. I asked if he would take a personal check he said no. He asked "Don't you have a credit card"? I stated that I had a debit card but I wasn't comfortable using it if he only wrote the number down. (because of possible fraud) I told him I'd go inside and check with inlaw regarding cash tech called boss and stated I had no way to pay, I told him we had enough to cover it. 5 mins later problem solved. My ratings here reflect the overall quality of service and the my experience with tech and initial contact with home office. I felt that phone service could have been extremly better and tech could have been a lot more personable. If I knew they didn't take personal checks I would have looked elsewhere. I will not be in a hurry to deal with this company again.

Very impressed!, 5/12/2008

I had lost my car key on a Sunday! I had called some locksmiths and was eventually referred to these guys. They are available 24 hours/day and came to me, which I desperately needed at the time. ... Because it was a Sunday they couldn't get the necessary theft device code for my ignition key but the locksmith made a copy of my door key so I could get into my trunk to get my purse and cell phone to call friends to come and pick me up. The next day he came out again to meet me, working around my schedule, and did everything he could to get the needed code and get me a new copy of my key. I had called around to double check the prices I was quoted by him and everything balanced out well. It was the difference between paying to get my car towed to a dealership to have a copy of my key made or the $50.00 travel fee this locksmith charged me...and considering he came out to meet me twice and was extremely helpful and efficient both times I am very pleased with the service I received. I hope you are too!
