A Taste Of Soul

I kept hearing about this place.. How good the food was and it was all homemade collard greens were the best I've ever had, the yams tasted like sweet potatoe pie without the crust, mac&cheese that reminds me of my grandmothers! The peach cobbler here you can't find anywhere else! the cat fish was the bomb the serving was huge for $10.99 please don't sleep on a A taste of soul! I tell everyone I know because it needs to be on bill boards and everyone need to run in and get some real food for thier bucks. can't wait to try the bbq I can't wait to try everything on the menu and the people there is really down to earth and friendly! So happy to have soul food in the valley no more LA for me...

The pork links are still plump and juicy not over done and prune like, the spare ribs are bathed in bar b q not drowned, and the slices of beef are just tender enough for a good sandwich. But, the chicken is what the people come for because of the crisp exterior that locks in the bbq marinade. All this was experienced on a Tuesday night just before closing. Happy eating.
