A Well Kneaded Massage

Unfortunately, the negative comments about this company are TRUE. I signed a contract with the company as an independent contractor in 2007 and was assigned various massage therapy assignments and was paid, until my last job October 1, 2010.\r\rI arrived at the site 30 minutes before the event began and, although the other assigned therapist never showed up, stayed two hours over, per the client's request.\r\rI was never paid for this job and Selena Garrison did not respond to my two phone calls and email followup.\r\rDO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY.\r\rMassage Therapist, IL

This review is intended soley to anything having to do with Selina Garrison of Well Kneaded Massage, 11024 Balboa Blvd., #217, Granada Hills, CA 91344. She contracts massage therapists to perform chair massage at company events, yet fails to pay them. She does not return any calls or e-mails. They contracted me to work last year and they paid me. This year, however, is a different story. She is obviously a flake. I am seeing what can be done at ABMP as well as any internet laws that may have been broken by her. I am not familiar with ""A Well Kneaded Massage"" on Parthenia, and I am not stating anything about them, provided they are not affiliated with Selina Garrison. I am an excellent therapist, and I am licensed and certified by the state of California. This posting is to warn everyone possible about Selina Garrison.

Earlier I had posted a review for this company and I wanted to correct the rating that it received. I had an issue with this company do to a misunderstanding, it has been resolved. This companies reputation should be held in tact and without blemish.

I I am a massage therapist located in Phoenix that Salina Garrison of Well Kneaded Massage in Granada Hills CA. (This is the same company as listed above at a different address, I assume they moved). She sent me an email and asked me to fill in for another therapist who could not accept a job in my area. Ive never worked for them before. I provided chair massage for one of their clients about 1 month ago and have not been paid. I have called Salina several times and sent emails. She does not respond. If you are a therapist and you get an email or offer to work with this company DO NOT DO IT! They are awful. They do not keep their contracts and she never answers the phone. She owns the company and apparently is the only one who really works there. Its a shame that especially in this economy that people like her would even consider screwing people and not paying them for the work they do. If you are a company considering Well Kneaded Massage to work an event for you, think twice and if you are a therapist please pass this along to others in our profession. We have to weed out these opportunists and keep this profession noble and therapists safe from being taken advantage of. Whomever the prior review belongs to, does not appear to know who he is posting a review for. Our company had NEVER hired unlicensed therapists. Furthermore, all our prices have always been listed on our site. \r\rIt is a shame that review boards like this are so easily manipulated\r1 - This could be a review from a disgruntled employee or therapist who we chose not to work with.\r2 - This could be an attempt from competitors trying to smear another companies name.\r3 - This could be a pervert who was refused services.\r\rEither way, we warn all consumers.
