The Car Talk brothers have nothing on Bryan, who was able to diagnose my washer's problem over the phone and even instructed me on how to fix it myself. When the task seemed too much to handle on my own, he quickly came over the same day and fixed it rapidly. He even followed up several days later to ensure that the issues had been resolved. I have had some repairmen string me along (with multiple visits and no-show appointments). It is refreshing to have someone that focuses on customer service. I will use him again in the future without hesitation!

Couple of months ago my refrigerator broke down and was not cooling properly. I called Brian on a Sunday evening, he gladly took the call and I explained him the situation. Over the phone, he asked me to check few things and was able to diagnose problem right away and he asked me the make and model numbers. Although he is located far away from my place, he was at my house early Mon morning with the correct part to be replaced. Brian is very detail oriented, very professional, friendly and had done an excellent job in addressing the issue right away. In fact, he followed-up again couple of days later to make sure everything is ok. Few weeks later I had an issue with my water heater and I called him again. He was kind enough to spend time with me on the phone to diagnose the issue, but rightfully advised that I get the heater replaced by a licensed plumber. Overall Brian has provided an exemplary service at a fair price and I would highly recommend him.

My refrigerator was not cooling, so I called Bryan based on Kudzu's review. To my surprise,he suggested that he will diagnose the problem with me over the phone, if I can fix it, he won't need to come and no charge; if I can't fix it and do need his repair service,he will just charge a trip fee plus the parts cost. My surprise was, Bryan treated me like his friend and just wanted to help me to fix the refrigerator and save the money. The money was on the table, he just won't take it. No other service provider will do this, they will simply make a service trip, charge a fee regardless it gets repaired or it's not worth the repair. Our diagnose showed that the compressor got power but did not run, it's just getting hotter. I've decided a new refrigerator is worth better than repairing/replacing the compressor. My experience with Bryan makes me feel that I should recommend his service to those who are in need of a honest and trustful repair person. Thanks again, Bryan!

I can only give the very highest of recommendations for Bryan at A to Z Repair. I used him a couple of months ago to fix my dryer and yesterday when my washer broke after the whole thing was filled up with water, I call Bryan immediately and he was able to diagnose the problem over the phone and was here first thing this morning to fix. He actually was going to come yesterday but I didn't want him to get stuck in traffic when I knew I could wait a day! He is incredibly knowledgeable about washers and dryers but also fixes other things too! And he has excellent prices! Thanks Bryan!!

I had an issue with my fridge and was concerned because it was a bit old. Bryan returned my email request almost immediately and we spoke over the phone for a long time while I explained what was going on, how I tried some fixes and what he thought the problem might be. He understood my concern about repairing an older fridge and troubleshot the issue over the phone - including waiting patiently while I unscrewed the back panel and checked the compressor. Once we knew what the problem was, he was honest about various options and the potential for them to last. He saved me a service fee since I decided to go ahead and buy a new fridge, THEN he even took the time to go over the pluses and minuses of various brands. Bryan is the kind of repairman whose number you give out to everyone and anyone who needs it because you know he will treat them like family. In this day and age, it's nice to know not everyone is out for a buck. As the rest of my older appliances need tweaks and repairs, I know I will be calling Bryan, because he has earned my business with his honesty, caring, and trustworthiness. Thanks!

I had Bryan out years ago to fix my refrigerator and when it went out again, he was my first call. He told me that he no longer services my area, but was kind enough to walk me through things that could be wrong with it to help me with options. Through a couple of phone calls we were able to diagnose it and I was able to fix it myself for the price of a small part. Bryan saved me at least 2K and wouldn't let me compensate him. This review is as good as I can do. His kindness came at a time my family really needed it and I can only hope that he has the best karma coming his way. Thank you 100 times over Bryan.

Okay, first off, my mother didn't write this review, Though it may appear that she did. I don't know about the whole "superb human being" thing. I've got plenty of faults. I'm sure that my bride of 21 years would gladly list them. As for my business model, I follow the rule of reciprocity (the golden rule) Treat others as you yourself would WANT to be treated. In other words, Treat each other as if we were all in Mayberry. Nothing special. Special Thanks to tgillent. It is the kindest review I believe I've ever received. I'm glad you managed to save yourself from buying a new fridge.
Our Kenmore dryer stopped working but Bryan came by within 24 hours and had us fixed. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and has excellent prices. He was recommended to us by several people in the neighborhood. We are completely satisfied and we'll use his service again. We highly recommend him.

I called and spoke with Bryan about my washing machine. He asked me to check a few things before he came out to try to save me some money. I diagnosed the problem after getting off the phone with Bryan. After cancelling my appointment, since I figured out my washing machine needed a new belt, Bryan was still trying to help me with getting the right part for my machine. Awesome customer service!

Bryan answered immediately and was at my house within an hour of my call. He quickly determined the issue and went to get the parts needed. He was helpful including given me hints to keep my other appliances running.

Bryan was knowledgeable, friendly, and punctual. I spent several hours trying to repair my fridge and couldn't. Bryan came in and had it solved in 20 minutes.

Like many others who have posted reviews, I called A to Z and spoke to Bryan. I explained what my problem was and he quickly diagnosed it as a simple repair. He said that he was happy to come out and fix it for $120 (service call fee + 1 hour of service), or I could repair it myself. He told me where to get the part and explained what I needed to do to fix it. Bottom line is that the part cost me $3.50 and the repair took less then 5 minutes. Bryan was extremely nice and saved me a ton of money by being honest. I have already recommended A to Z to a friend of mine and will absolutely call back when I have another appliance issue.
