I emailed this company from their website early this morning (6:30AM)and gave a time of today from 2-4 for the appt. They called to confirm around 8:00. Emik came at 3:00 and took a look at my 7 year old washing machine which had two problems. He diagnosed very easily and gave me the price to fix. One of the parts was not on his truck but he called to see if the company had one in stock which they did. He said that he would come back either tonight or tomorrow and promised to call one hour ahead to let me know when. He called at 5:00 and said that he could come back around 6:00. He arrived and fixed the problem within 30 minutes and charged me exactly what he said he would: $256. He gave me a magnet with their number and his name on it for future appliance problems. The washer seems to be working fine and the cost was much less than buying a new washer! I am very satisfied.

UPDATE 7/1/2008 Of course they have not refunded the $50 "refundable deposit", and we called another service provider...the part is only $160 and it will cost at most $240 to replace. IT IS CONFIRMED THAT THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY! When I called to make a service appointment to repair my stove, I asked how much they would charge to diagnose what was wrong. I was told by the woman on the phone "$7.00". David came out to look at the stove and diagnosed a broken LCD display. He didn't know how much replacing it would cost, but said "If we just paid him $350 in cash" he would "take care of it". He then charged my husband a "$50 deposit" (not a $7 service charge) while we decided whether we wanted to repair it or not. When I called the number back the woman on the phone said "deposits are not usually refundable" (and chaos ensued on my part). My husband called David back and then David said "well how about $300?". DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY. I don't trust them at all! PS: We've since disputed the $50 charge on our credit card and are waiting for AAA to call us back with a cancellation number for crediting our credit card.

Made online appt. They called to confirm. No one showed. I called back several hours later -- by using redial on the number THEY CALLED ME from. They never heard of me and had no record in their system. They didn't know who would have called me. (Guess I just imagined the call and the fact their number was on my caller ID and ironically is the SAME number as on this ad???!!!) The next day they called to confirm they would be out "during the times I requested" to make it sound like they were doing me a big favor. I called back and told them I already found someone else. They said I made appt for that day, NOT day before -- and again could not explain who had called me. Made it sound like I was wrong???!! HA! If you use these people, you will be sorry.... I normally just go away quietly and take my business elsewhere but these people really ticked me off. I don't need my dryer that badly!

I went away for the weekend and upon returning, my fridge was a disaster. It had died over the weekend and there was not even a bit of residual coolness left. Everything was spoiled or melted. I found AAA on Kudzu and went to their website to request an appointment early Tuesday morning for 12-2 and was called back in a few hours with a confirmation. The technician looked at my fridge and it was more serious than he could handle and that a specific fridge technician would be out at 3 to finish the repair and I was given an estimate. Just after 3 the other technician showed up and fixed my fridge without any issues and the price was the same as before and already included the kudzu discount that is mentioned on the site. It was a good, fast and efficient team that took care of my appliance and I am very happy with the work. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing appliance repair. The only thing to be aware of is that you must make it very clear if you are using a credit card. I had wanted to, but didn't make it clear, so the final technician was not able to take it, but they did take my starter check without issue.

False advertising- this company also does business as Appliance Service, Appliance Master and Appliance Pro, Inc. Their web site says they are a member of BBB - they are not. Search BBB and see how they have an unsatisfactory record - and they are NOT a member. False statement 2 - Their web site states 20% discount for making appointment over the internet. David gave me 10.5% off the $286 - to replace a $20 part. I called him on this and he said the 20% is on labor only. I then asked for a breakdown of the price he charged. Labor $56.00 (20% of this would be $11.20 - he gave me a $30.00 discount) so he was obviously giving me bogus information, Defrost my freezer - $69.00, Part - $100 (or he could get it free tomorrow - that's what he told me when I said it cost $20 from Maytag - I guess trying to justify the $286.00 he was charging me.) So I told him that adds up to $225.00 where is the rest of the $286.00 coming from - travel he told me. Another false advertising - the web site says free service call. What does a free service call mean? Then I asked him to leave the part for me since my refrigerator is only 13 months old. I called Maytag and the part he gave me is not the part that came out of the refrigerator. I could have said no to the service. Do not use.

Completly false statement, probably from one of our competing companies,They really do not like our $7.95 service fee and a really same day service.
I was very excited that a technician was able to come out on a Sunday to repair my freezer. The technician replaced a switch which was supposed to fix the problem and charged me $200 - steep given that the part was priced at $30 at Sears but I was willing to pay given convenience of getting it fixed on a Sunday. Unfortunately, the new part didn't fix the problem and they were a no show for a follow up appointment. I've gotten NO assurances that they will "make things right", only comments from the person on the phone that she is "not responsible for what is charged." Avoid this disreputable business.

We don't understand. Do you have a problem with the pricing or the quality of the repair? Please call after 9 PM any day at 770-777-1449. My name is Leon and I am the manager.
Everybody knows what means to do kitchen renovation (you have to be without oven, microwave, and cooktop for a long time). But I was very lucky - I find this company on the net. I called them; they came the same day, and installed my oven, microwave, and cooktop for very reasonable prize. They did very good job. Thank you, and see next time only this company - what I recommend for everybody.

This company saved my dinner party! I was planning a Saturday evening party, but when I tried to turn my oven on in the morning, I realized that it had died. When I called some appliance companies, they said the earliest appointments they had available were for Monday. Just when I was sure it would the party would be a disaster, I called AAA Atlanta Appliance & Refrigeration Inc. and they offered me an appointment immediately. Their technician came right away, had all the parts necessary to do the repair in his truck, and did a very professional job. Thanks for helping me out of a tight squeeze! I would definitely recommend this company.

This company came out on 1/6/07 to repair my refrigerator. I was charged $336 to replace 3 parts. They overcharged me for the parts. The same parts can be purchased for under $125. I called to discuss my concerns with management and to date no one has returned my call. Any reputable company would at least call you back to address the concerns. I would NOT recommend this company to my worst enemy.

I went to their website and requested an appointment to repair a dryer for the next day. Unfortunately, the repair man did not give me a quote before fixing the dryer and tried to charge me for replacing a 15$ part and cleaning the vent (212.00). He was at my house 20 minutes. Then he said what do you want to pay? Anytime someone asks you "What do you want to pay" BEWARE!

They scheduled the appointment between 1 and 3. He showed up at 12:56, on a SUNDAY. He did not charge an additional fee for working on the weekend.. He gave me a fair price before the work was done and had the parts needed with him. He left the house clean and was very polite. I will use him again as well as recommend him to friends.

I had a repairman come to my home to repair a refrigerator, and dryer. While he was there, I asked him to inspect my washer to determine the cause of a leak. Well, after his inspection, I was never able to use my washer again. He totaled it. Then, to add insult to injury, when I asked that he come back out to repair it I was told that because he did not actually work on it, he would not make any repairs. No one ever came out to the appointment I has set for the repair of my washer. That was very irresponsible of these people. I will never use them again. By the way, they overcharged us for the repairs done to our refrigerator that was not completed. Then they refused to refund any money or come back out to fix that either. Just know that if they don't do the job right you'll be stuck with the cost of repairing their mistakes yourself. Just unprofessional service!

Called @ 2pm and got same day response at 6pm. Great. Skeptical when told by dispatch person of the $7.95 call charge without fixing anything. Technician arrives, David, quick diagnosis; takes back cover off, and announces "bad starter relay, that is $ 268, I got the parts in my car, can do it right now". I inquire about the compressor, the big ticket item, he says no problem with that, but if so, it would be over $400. When I tell him that we may look to buy another used unit for around $300, he says to call him and he would take the old one, free. Called another company, tech arrives, determines Condensor motor, total fix $160. No return to this company for me.
