Great service. Great price. Very personable and helpful. These guys take pride in what they do. The first mechanic I took my car to said replace the transmission. I'm glad I had it towed to AAMCO because it the transmission was fine, it was my clutch. They took the time to explain and show me what had happened, and didn't gouge my wallet. I would highly recommend taking your car here.

I thought my '07 Ford Explorer was in need of transmission repairs and I found AAMCO through Kudzu as "having a good reputation for service, quality, and price". After getting burned at the dealership a few times, I was happy to find AAMCO lived up to its name. They charged only 1.5H for labor, but Brian spent at least 3 driving it in search for the problem - ended up being a cooling fan. While they did miss-order the part twice and kept the car a few extra days than planned, they gave me an oil change free of charge. Thanks AAMCO for a quality repair - I will definitely recommend you and will be back (but hopefully not too soon)!

Highly knowledgeable owner/manager didn't charge me and educated me about my symptoms in the transmission. Free diagnostic, read the code to me from the Check Engine light and was friendly. Recommended by my best car mechanic K & M Auto Repair.

From the moment I spoke with Rick about the transmission on our Jeep, I knew I had found the right person to service the vehicle. I found Rick to be extremely knowledgeable. He explained everything to the both of us when we came to pick up the vehicle. I highly recommend this AAMCO if you need transmission repair work.

I am very pleased with the service I received. The staff is excellent and courteous. I felt comfortable and safe at all times and would definitely recommend this business to any consumer. In my years of military service I have witnessed great examples of integrity. The North Atlanta Aamco and their staff operate with many of the same values. Thank you. Kenny Hastings SGT, USA

You will quickly recognize friendly during your first phone call or visit to Aamco Transmission at 4270 Buford Hwy, Atlanta. I feel completely confident in recommending Rick and his staff as being trustworthy. My first visit to this company was five years ago and the most recent visit was this month. I not only received excellent service and advice but witnessed how he treated other customers while I was there. I think he will earn your trust also.

Rick has worked on our cars for 7 years and my only regret is that we didn't find him sooner. When our transmission died on our VW, we were in school. Rick worked hard to find a solid rebuilt transmission to offset the cost and that car is still running like a top. He even called us to check on us - which he has done with every repair experience. We brought our Highlander to him this week and he gave us a 10% discount from an ad we were unaware of. Again, he called to check on us. This is a great shop and they operate with integrity.

I spoke with Rick who is the owner of the place which I found out later. I have a 2000 Acura Integra with about 163k miles. I asked him about replacing my clutch and he was very honest. He told me not to even bother if the car is still shifting and driving fine. He told me depending on how well you drive that thing is can last up to 250k+ miles on the stock clutch. If it was any other shop I am sure they would of told me to come on in so they can change it! He told me not to worry and save my money. Assured me that I would know and the car would tell me when it's going out. I appreciate his honesty and he has definately earned my future business. You can't find too many honest shops now days!

When you send your daughter to an auto-after-market repair shop "you only want the most trustworthy technical team on the job." That is what she experienced at Rick Waits AAMCO Center. The problem was idenified, solutions offered, price presented and accepted, resulting in a very happy ending. Thanks AAMCO!

my daughter was a student at georgia tech when the transmission went out on her car. our home is in massachusetts and we were concerned that she might end up being overcharged since she was arranging the repair herself. However, AAMCO on Buford Highway was top notch in every respect! Very reasonable price, excellent service! I recommend this company 100 percent in every aspect!
