Took my 08 accord to aamco for a second opinion it had no 3rd gear and after the honda dealership told me the repair would be around 3800 dollars, I thought to go elsewhere. Aamco checked it for free, there was some sensor that had gone bad. They fixed it for 275 and its been working for months now. I trust these guys and recommend them to all my friends.

I brought my car into aamco, and had to have my transmission repaired, ever since then I don't take my car anywhere else. The manager, Tim, is so helpful and answered any questions I had. The other review on here must have been a fluke because aamco is the way to go!

I went in to have my transmission checked and was told it would cost me around $2500.00 for the repairs. They wouldn't even give me a written estimate, saying that it could cost more. I was told by Aamco that I would need a complete rebuid of my transmission. NOT TRUE!!! I went to another company where the gave me an honest, up front diagnosis of my problem. They just had to replace to small soleniods for the transmission and it only cost me $300.00 for parts and labor. So don't always think that a big name, national chain is going to be the best place to go. I was almost ripped off by Aamco, but was smart enough to get a second opinion. So consumers, be careful.
