I took my 2003 Honda Odyssey to these guys with a transmission code error problem. On first visit they told me problem was a pressure switch and a range sensor on my transmission and assured me it was all taken care and charged me $512.65. The next week problem occured again. They checked car again and this time told me it was a bad ground wire and again said problem solved. A week or so later, in the middle of no where on our way to vacation in FL the problem happened again. Took it back to be checked again. When I went to pick it up at the end of the day the mechanic came running out and said he hadn't had a chance to look at it yet. He tightened up the battery cable while I waited and was certain that was the problem. Problem occured again a week later - took it to the dealer - the dealer found an after market alarm on car I never knew was there. The alarm had a short and causing computer system to show up as a transmission error code. They removed the after market alarm system and problem was solved. I contacted the Paul, the manager, explained the situation and told him I had receipts for the repair and that I wanted some kind of refund since they never solved problem. Paul said he would get with Scott, the owner, to see how they would rectify. I never heard back and had to repeatedly call. Last conversation the manager claims they repaired problem and said there was nothing they could do. NEVER use these guys!!!

We had the speed sensors in my Altima replaced. When I first took my car in on Thursday, they told me to bring it back on Friday. After spending the whole day there on Friday, they said to bring it back Monday. In total, the car was at their shop for 3 full days, when they had originally said 1 day. They did not even call during that time. Every communication was from us to them. It would have stayed 1 more day had we not shown up before closing on day 3. When we arrived to pick up the car, they wanted to charge twice the original price, and when we talked them down to just $50 over the original price, they complained that we would get them in trouble with the boss. We won't be back.

Took my car to the dealer and they said I would need a new transmission which would cost over $2000. I took it to AAMCO in Lawrenceville and they were very professional and friendly. They gave me a ride home after dropping off my car and the problem ended up being an electrical issue, and only cost me $350. Great service and kept me up to date on the progress. Will bring my car here for everything.

Took my sons car to the Aamco in Lawrenceville because it was having some transmission problems. They fixed his car in a timely manner and the cost was reasonable. I will use them for any and all of my car problems. Thanks guys for a job well done and making sure my son has a safe ride!

Do not go to this establishment. Poor communication skills Very unprofessional. Not trustworthy. I was told over five different times that my car would be ready and none of those dates were met. I was left without a vehicle for 3 extra days and I still don't have my car. When I addressed my concerns with SCOTT the manager, his response was in a short temper format and never apologizied for my troubles. SCOTT does not know how to deal with customer service in an appropiate manner and need more training and development. I'm to the point where I don't even want the transmission and they can take their parts off. Tomorrow, I'm calling corporate office and if something isn't done, this will become a court matter.

This shop is good, But Honestly, They take forever to get a job done. My car has been in for just about 3 weeks. Not quite yet, Guy named Paul also said that the car WOULD be done today. Its closing time for them and still no call.. I figured that much. I dont think i would recommend this shop for electrical problems, This is rediculous.

Scott and his team installed a rebuilt transmission in my 2002 Ford Windstar. Scott had the van towed free of charge and had it ready to roll exactly when he said they would. They also repaired the rear seal and motor mount for the price of parts since they were already in the area. They charged no additional labor for these services. They also diagnosed my check enginge code of P1506 more in depth free of charge. I would strongly reccomend this shop for any repairs needed. The have been honest and standup people to me.

I brought my 96 Sunfire in for a Transmission rebuild due to my torque converter slipping. So I left my car there. 3 weeks later i went to pick up my car and i drove it 10 miles. The problem popped up again. So i drove back before they had a chance to close and make a gettaway. I told them the check engine light was BACK ON within having the car for 10 minutes. Then they said that they put the wrong solenoid in for the car. And it was causing the torque converter to engage pre maturly. Now another 2 weeks later. Still waiting for them to replace the solenoid. Which might i add is only an hour job.. I do not recommend this shop for anyone. Esspecially if you need the car for work. Cuz youll be outta work for a few months.

These guys are real poor at communicating, providing good customer service, and lack organization. All they had to do was tell me what was wrong in the simplest of terms, they made it so difficult. Scotty, the guy who answers the phone, is rude, short tempered and has a very limited vocabulary. Would recommend using receipts for all services provided, especially warranty work.

I will never bring my car to AAMCO on Pike Street again. I picked it up on a Friday, two days late, at closing time. By the time I got home I realized that it was doing something it had not been doing when I dropped it off. It was shaking all over the place when I turned. It turns out the tie rods needed to be tightened, something that was triggered by replacing the transmission. Nobody mentioned it to me, nobody fixed it, nothing was even addressed. I cant believe they returned the car to me in this condition without any mention of this new problem. I called and left several messages over the last two weeks and nobody so much as returned my phone calls. I cant understand why they wouldn't even call me back. I had to take it somewhere else and the problem was fixed quickly. I will never, NEVER, take my car there again.

My original visit was not great, after a couple of attempt they just did not get my situation right. Any company, good or bad can get things right, and even the best companies can get things wrong. The true judge of a company is one that knows how to handle the situations that go wrong. I want to tell you that Scott went out of his way to make things right with me and that I would recommend this company to anyone needed car repair. Regardless of what happens, I can guarantee you that you will leave satisfied. Thanks Scott keep up the good work.

Hank and Scott really took care of me when my 1995 Saturn boke down this year. The repairs were done quickly, the quality of the work was great, and the customer service was outstanding. I use my car in my business, and they got me back on the road in no time.

Paid $2250 for a transmission rebuild and had it back numerous time (towed twice) within the first year because the transmission was not shifting correctly. The Manager told my wife she was imagining it. 27,000 miles later I took it to have a diagnostic test at another AAMCO. They said I need a transmission rebuild. When I mentioned it was just rebuilt at this AAMCO, I was told to go back to them. So, now they quoted me $1800 to fix it again. WHAT A RIP OFF!!! They should have fixed it right the first time. I recommend you go elsewhere...

I was hesitant to take my vehicle to a "name" company, I believed I would be charged a fortune just because of their name. I was wrong. Hank and his staff were friendly, fixed my problem the first time, had my vehicle completed when they said they would, they did not try to take advantage of a woman who knows nothing about transmissions. The price was very fair and reasonable for the work they did. I highly recommend this location for accurate repairs, friendly staff, and reasonable prices.

I had an extremely difficult situation with a Jaguar that left me completely disgusted with the Jag Dealership. I had even been told that I shouldn't have anyone but the dealer do my work, BUT Hank and his team were AWESOME and went above and beyond in getting my 2003 S-Type's transmission installed and provided fair, honest, and reasonably priced service. IF YOU NEED ANY TYPE OF SERVICE FOR YOUR CAR, THE AAMCO TEAM ON PIKE ST IN LAWRENCEVILLE IS WHERE YOU SHOULD GO. My Experience was truly IMPRESSIVE!
