Best Around!, 6/14/2013

Informative staff and exceptional quality of repair, they really treat you like a friend and genuinely care about their customers and that is rare! Thanks for the great work!

Reliable staff, 11/19/2012

The staff provided us with great customer service, quality work at a low price and in a short time. We have a 2000 Ford Windstar with a check engine light on & a smell of fumes & other problems for... 6 or more months. The other Aamco in Decatur near N. Decatur Rd. were not as thorough, nor as friendly, & were very overpriced. This Fayetteville location addressed & solved the problem. I recommend this location to others.

FEELS LIKE FAMILY!!!!

I currently have a 1998 Buick Park Avenue that this business has kept alive for me. I was having some major transmission problems and I almost gave up on my car. After 3 bad visits with other companies, including the Buick dealership, I did some research and found them. They took a look at my car, diagnosed the issue, and "gave her life again" all in less than a week! The prices and labor are wonderful! The warranties are great. The staff....there are no other words that can explain them!! They made me feel comfortable as if I was at home. So friendly and knowledgeable! I've not only had my transmission rebuilt with them, but, they've also made my summertime become a LOT cooler by repairing my A/C!! I recommend any and every one to stop in! They are truly a COMPLETE AUTO CARE facility!!

Exceptional Service

I would really like to say thanks in a million to Aamco Fayetteville Location for their professionalism, integrity, and courteous manner, the staff is very nice, they really impress me because to me the staff manners really dictate to me whether or not I really want to use a place of business or not. I really want to say that there are still honest professionals still out there in the auto motive business, and Aamco represent that, I got my car back when they said I would, even the manager himself keeps me informed on the progress of my car, Aamco really make sure I was satisfied, without hesitation I would recommend anyone with transmissions problems to Aamco Fayetteeville location.

outstanding service

I want to commend the Aamco at 100 Rainbow Way, Fayetteville, GA for its outstanding service, professionalism and integrity. A fellow church member paid more than $1,500 for inadequate transmission work at another repair facility. She was out of funds and thoroughly disgusted when our pastor referred her to the Fayetteville Aamco. We have discussed how pleased she is with the care and concern she received after presenting her concerns to this Aamco. Her car and transmission continue to operate well. Also, I need to add that the honesty and integrity of the owner was exhibited when he realized that I had overpaid the repair by $100. As soon as he determined where the error was made, he contacted my friend to inform her. It does my heart good to know that there are still a few places that treat people with dignity and respect and are sincere about doing a good job. I will continue to sing the praises of this Aamco.

Excellence

Excellent customer service and quality work at a fair price!!! My experience was much better than I expected it could be based on my dealings with another shop. I was treated with respect and consideration, and I would recommend this business to everyone.

True Customer Service

I want to share my most recent experience at the Fayetteville, Georgia Aamco location. After owning my car for 10 years, the check transmission light came on. I took my car to the Fayetteville location. Since the computer couldn’t read the codes from my car, I had to leave it and was given a ride home. Nothing unusual so far, just good customer service. But what happened next made me decide to have my car repaired by the Fayetteville Aamco. I received a phone call from the manager, who explained the problem with my transmission. Then another employee made this easier to understand by pointing out the parts on a diagram in the shop. I asked for a worst case scenario and price which I was given and told it could be lower. What came next is the reason I will always have my transmission work done at this Aamco location and why I refer all my friends, especially my female friends, to this Aamco. I explained that my nephew’s wedding was Saturday afternoon out of town (about a two-hour drive) and asked if my car would be ready in time. I asked them to do their best, and they said they would try to have my car ready by Saturday. Mid-morning Saturday I received a call that their mechanics had come in at 5:00 AM to make sure they finished my car so I could go to the wedding even though normal opening time is 8:00 AM! They not only provided outstanding customer service, they were also kind. The kindness they showed will remain with me forever.

MONEY PIT!

I came upon this little counterfeit operation after a bad transmission put me within 5 miles of their location. They charged me $2600 for a rebuilt tranny which I thought would be worth it if the car lasted another 3 years. But seeing as they never fully fixed the tranny (I brought it right back within 30 days but they pretended there was no problem to be found) that's $2600 plus another $1500 in charges due to car rental fees, fixing OTHER things that weren't wrong with the car and time lost at work. Every single repair shop said TAKE IT BACK TO AAMCO and I did to no avail. One honest tranny technician even said for me to have Aamco call him and he would explain the tranny issue...needless to say they wouldn't call him. So guess what I had to do? BUY ANOTHER TRANSMISSION! And the funny thing is that the low mileage transmission that I just bought from an honest shop was cheaper than getting it rebuilt by this crooked little Aamco! Plain and simple the owner {BEN FELDMAN} is no good and I'm considering legal action. Consider yourself warned! Not only have they changed CS Reps 4 times (red flag) and ALL but one of the mechanics (bigger red flag) BUT get this one of the guys there felt soo bad for me that he fessed up and told me that they had orders to never admit that my transmission was jacked up. He said the owner was never in a million years going to replace it. So yeah, consider yourself forewarned.

Good Service at a good price

I went there thinking my transmission was a goner. Instead of selling me a new one, they just repaired mine and saved me a bundle. It's so good to find someone honest in todays cut thoat world.

Big Help for Large Family

I have a large family and we have several vehicles. My experience with the car dealers is when something is wrong with our cars they don't try to fix the problem, they just replace the whole thing. This is very expensive with a transmission. Now we go to Aamco in Union city. They saved us a lot. They fix only what is broken inside the transmission. They saved us over $1000 and gave us a warranty good at all Aamcos. Robert, the shop manager, gave us straight answers without talking down or brushing us off with technical words. They did a great job.

Un-Professional/ Poor Service

I spoke with the owner/center manager who spoke very calmly about Aamco ability to repair my vehicle compared to the dealers. I dropped my vehicle of over a week ago and they still have it as of 7/28/06. The vehicle is currently in the same state as when I brought it in 8 days ago. The business will not return calls, will not follow-up with status when requested or keep you abreast of repair cost.. All I have received is excuses from this business and delay tactics. I would not recommend anyone take there vehicle here..This business represents a very poor example of service to the customer.

AAMCO Transmissions replied on 10-10-2007

Customer service and satisfaction our are most important concerns. We have been in the area for 28 years and have served literally thousands of people because of these vital concerns. Many similar businesses have come and gone through the years and all together they have had fewer customers. We are of course human however and any customer concern always needs to be addressed properly and promptly. In the case cited above the customer did not identify himself or herself and the only concern during this period of time related to an older vehicle. The owner was aaprised of the difficulty of finding the necessary parts when he came in initially. Once the parts were located and work completed he receieved his quote "Classic Car". When he came in for scheduled 10 day check all seemed fine. We very much appreciate having had the opportunity to address the above referenced review. Aamco-Union City
