The movers were very professional and were great. The packers could not have been worse! First of all they showed up in middle of the day 2 days before the move to pack a 5 bedroom house/3 completely furnished stories. They ran out of boxes and paper multiple times. They threw items in boxes without wrapping them... took things apart (like lamps) and put the pieces in multiple boxes... dumped drawer contents into boxes and covered w/paper. Labeled majority of boxes wrongly. So much was broken and missing, but here's the craziest thing - they lost a refrigerator! Not sure how that happens. They brought my parents someone else's junked up refrigerator and never found ours. It's been months and we're still going through mislabeled boxes looking for long lost items. It's hard to file a claim for all the items when 99% of your boxes are mislabeled. Of course we signed off on the boxes before the move - what else are you supposed to do? Overall, the company grossly underestimated the size of this move. Highly satisfied with the storage and furniture care (minus the missing refrigerator) - but really - stop using inept packers who employ careless college kids to care for people's precious belongings. I'd only recommend this company to people doing their own packing.

If I could give this company negative stars, I would. I had to use this company for a corporate paid move from Atlanta, GA to Phoenix, AZ. I was assured the movers would show up Saturday morning between 8-10am but when I called at 1030 they said they would be there between 12-2. They claimed there was a mix up with the coordination department and the coordinator never got the message even though I called to change the time Friday at 3pm. Apparently he had already gone home for the weekend. It took 4 men 7 hours to pack it all after being assured 2 could do the job in 3-4 hours. Now to my actual goods. I have moved over 20+ times in my lifetime. My wife the same. Neither of us, have EVER had a worse move, or heard of one! We had 60 boxes of goods plus probably close to 25 non box items (tables, chairs, couch, bed, etc.) Of that, 43 were broken and 6 items were missing. worst of all was our sand ceremony jar from our wedding which occurred one month prior to the day of our move. It was packed upside down, at the bottom of a box. The top of the jar came loose and spilled some, not all, of the sand, but still ruining the design and representation of our union. In short, my move cost ~$5000 and they damaged over $5500 in goods. I'm not sure what went through the packers' minds, but it obviously had less logic than a giraffe dressed as Elvis explaining atheism to an alien priest. I would not recommend this company to my enemies let alone loved ones.

I had two issues with the people who came to pack my house: 1. they were a third party, and there was alot of infighting. The owner of the packing business broght an "adopted son" who didn't work hard, and the others all compained to me about the retlationship and having to do his work. It made me very uncomfortable 2. Alot of damage of goods on receipt due to poor packing.

AC White came highly recommended. Our shipment arrived as a total loss - see pictures. And while I appreicate that things go wrong, the response toward resolution has been slow and unsympathetic. Particullarly at a corporate/United level. Procede with caution.

I did call in with complaint and truly felt humiliated and degraded when I made complaint. Further more there are discrepancies as to the length of time one has to file for insurance. Your quality assurance man who called to follow up to see how the move was going teuly lacked customer service skills. Further, he lied directly to me and argued with me over facts that he denied bc it did not serve the crew in the best light. I will call again.

Had a quote setup for 9am - guy calls and 7:40 says he's in my driveway which I was okay with but just got out of the shower. Did a quick walk through and explained my move date. Was told they dont work weekends but he will check and see and shouldn't be an issue. Was also told I would get a quote in two or three hours - which I did but the email only stated they couldn't do anything for me since they do not work weekends. Also in this email they noted 2-9 day delivery for my move - i was only moving 5 hours away?? Dont waste your time

I see reviews are various. And I guess i was lucky. I didn't move far as some of you guys, but they moved me well. No damage, if there were cracks or something missing, I still didn't notice a thing. So I just shared a word, my rating will sort that out.

We engaged AC White for our move because of 3 things - Kudzu rating, price and our experience with them from the outset. Pretty much everything went well except that the loading crew did $6,000 worth of damage to the house we were moving out of a week before closing and their insurance company offered only $1,600 to settle. We would have given 5 stars except that the damage almost doubled the cost of the move.

Military move from GA to AZ so we had no choice in movers. Got our stuff and there were alot of damaged things, broken, misplaced, etc. Most things were mislabled. Piled heavy things on top of light and ruined stuff like wicker baskets, shoes, ceramic bowls. Packed EVERYTHING...Crisco, big mess!Still cant find hardware to reassemble things like bed, tables. If u get stuck with these guys in MACON watch them closely!!! A bunch of lazy slackers!

Moving my household from Marietta to Seattle, my dealings with ACWhite prior to the move were fine. But when I was told the day before the pickup that my shipment would be shuttled to the warehouse and moved later, that broke my condition for the sale and the salesman's promise. My fears were realized when the shipment arrived at the destination short. An item was lost at the warehouse in Alpharetta. Oops! I found that inventories taken at the pickup, the warehouse and delivery all don't match. All I'm told by ACWhite and United is file a claim. How can I file a claim when there are discrepancies in three separate inventories? I've requested on several occasions that an agent come to the destination and conduct an inventory of the shipment. "No. Just file a claim." that is what I am told. Also, I paid 110% of the estimate and the actual weight was more than 10% less and I get $134.00? I've asked for and never received an accounting of the charges. Great with the sale, worthless on follow through. Beware.

I have moved many times, but this time I had the best experience. No problems at all. Excellent. They were on time and not late at all. The price was right. I would highly recommend them and would use them in the future.

I had A.C. White Relocations move me and my huge family to our new house in Marietta. They were such hard-working guys and very pleasant to be around. Usually I am so stressed out when I move, but they made it so much easier for me. This is definitely the way to move. Give them a try

They were professional, courteous and helpful. Always willing to move belongings where we needed them. Also helpful as to determining damage on furniture and to storage vault. Overall very good service.
