I had a tree with large surface roots taking over my front yard. Keenan and the crew at AKA took down the tree, grinded the stump, removed the roots, and completely re-did my yard with a new tree... and sod. They also did all the clean up and left my yard in 10x better shape than it was in beforehand. AKA also was good with communication and provided me with tips on how to maintain my yard moving forward. AKA's work exceeded my expectations.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

We needed a lot of trees to be removed primarily for better grass growth and proximity to our home as our home is parallel to a creek and the woods. AKA’s team even had to deal with a 3 to 1 slope over 60 feet from bottom to top!!! AKA’s professionalism & experience shined on our property. Their industry experience was on full display; their climbers did not use spikes thus protecting the trees. No damage to yard via their low impact removal techniques. Truly appreciated their input of trimming and pruning where I thought removal was the only option (saving the tree and us money)! When they left our property, they left no sign or trace of being there! Loved how they wrapped the job up making sure they delivered to our expectations. They will not be the lowest quote, but I have learned you get what you pay for and we got experience & professionalism and a beautiful piece of property! Oh, you will not have to wait on a subcontractor to grind the stumps weeks later!! They grind the stumps too!
Tree removal, pruning and trimming on 3 to 1 slope 60 feet from bottom to top of slope. Tree removal along two separate fence lines. Tree removal from back yard. Tree trimming between our home and our neighbors.

I have not hired this company but they did make a pretty big mistake of leaving logs in my yard and also blocking a very busy neighborhood street for over 24 hours after a job. A neighbor had hired them for a job. After numerous calls to the company, I did get to talk with Lee who was very polite and cares very much about this business. The trees were eventually moved and the problem resolved. I hope that in the future this situation can be avoided by trucks removing all leftover debris and that other neighbors won't be inconvenienced by it for more than a few hours. Thanks to Lee for his communication and getting it taken care of.

We reached out to a number of local tree services and most did not get back to us so I guess there is plenty of work around. Lee from AKA responded very quickly and came round to review the project and provide a quote. We made a deal and we cannot fault the crew that worked on our project. Great team, they arrived very early and worked really hard with hardly any breaks. Overall they did a fantastic job - exactly what we wanted to achieve and we are very happy with the result. Would not hesitate to recommend them.
Project was to clear around half an acre yard of many tree's, lots of them were very close to the house including pines that we viewed as high risk. Job was to take the tree's down, remove them from the property and grind all the stumps and roots in preparation for lawn work. D

We knew our favorite Oak tree was getting old and had fallen ill to root rot and water damage but we didn't want to let her go.. In the end, we had no choice. Mother nature did the job for us during a heavy rain and fortunately she fell away from our home. Once on the ground, it was obvious I would have to hire a tree removal service capable of handling big trees on a "hard to navigate" terrain. I had 6 companies quote the job and fortunately I choose AKA Tree Removal. Jamie Rhye did the initial inspection and he was confident his crew could handle the sharp incline. I reside on the Chattahoochee river and with a 45 degree pitch down to the water, big trees become 2-3 heavier going up hill. But Jamie's crew made short order of our giant red oak. They have a good mix of tree climbers, heavy equipment drivers/handlers and team work. The big tree pictured took out 3-4 smaller trees on its way down but AKA got them all removed in half a day. If you're looking for a fast, efficient tree removal company that will charge a reasonable amount based on tree size and not where you live, AKA is the company to call. I highly recommend them for anyone needing a service here in NE Atlanta. Thanks guys! Jonathan River Laurel Suwanee, GA

"I saw AKA Tree Removal working in a neighbor's yard. I called the company to get an estimate on pruning several trees. Before long, Ted was ringing my doorbell, was able to give an estimate and complete the work in the same day. Professional, fair price and excellent clean up. I highly recommend AKA and will be using them again in the future." Elaine Brookshire, Marietta GA

I had several trees I wanted taken down in my backyard and was afraid of the damage it may cause to the rest of my yard or house, as one was very close to my back deck. Mike was wonderful to work with and the guys who took the trees down did an amazing job and left no signs of damage or debris! They were quick and a great deal! Thanks AKA! Id recommend them to anyone!!

I had a large, dead white oak tree in my backyard, which was between my house and the lake on a hill. The tree was very close to my multilevel deck. The crew was very concerned about getting the tree down without damaging my deck. Despite being insured with workman's comp and liability, they got the tree down with precisions accuracy and without damage to the deck. They estimated it would take all day. They showed up on time and completed the job in ~ 3.25 hours from start to finish--way ahead of schedule. The climber was safe, and the crew's knowledge and expertise yielded quality results. The estimators underestimated the project from a cost perspective. The owner of the company honored the original estimate and the agreement despite the high potential for damage and low profit of the job. To me this shows a company that was equally interested in having a satisfied customer. I will use them for future need, and I would highly recommend their services.

I discovered AKA because of a coupon that arrived in the mail. Lee was able to deliver the best quote I could find. AKA was tasked with removing several small trees and trimming some dead limbs on a large oak. They did a good job and are willing to come back over to trim additional dead limbs I've discovered on the oak.

We just relocated to this area from Ohio, and we were delighted to find a tree service that returned our call promptly. Lee came out the next day for an estimate, and a crew of 3 trucks and 8 men showed up promptly as scheduled. All work was performed as specified, yard was raked up afterwords, and the place looks beautiful. Communication and scheduling with AKA was excellent. will use this service again!!
