Buyer Beware - Aquarium Center - Alpharetta., 3/10/2009

I have been in the Alpharetta area for a long time and have visited this aquarium store frequently, but will not visit any longer. I used to visit his older location and soon learned his poor... business tactics moved along with his store. To be very honest - be careful when you're in his shop. He is not an honest shop owner. The old saying buyer beware has never been more true than when you visit this place. He will pick prices out of thin air - you may get one price - and the very next customer gets another price for the exact same fish (no prices are on his tanks). I have personally witnessed this numerous times. In fact, my neighbor visited his store last month and was told he would get a credit for a large fish he no longer could maintain. My neighbor brought it in expecting to receive a credit or exchange for another fish and the shop owner never mentioned the credit like he did just the day before. Instead, he simply took my neighbors expensive fish. My neighbors wife visited with her little boy (she knew nothing about the costs of fish) and ended up paying $39.00 for a simple Nemo Clown fish ! - we all know a plain old Nemo averages from $16-$23 each. This was a plain, small, Nemo. Not a Tomato Nemo or black Nemo. If you don't spend enough money in his store he will give you an attitude. This store is very dishonest and should be shut down. This review can be verified by many, many, people I know - it's 100% factual. Be careful!!
