Aamco Transmission and Auto Repair

The same scenario happend as with "ChaseCheddar" except for the hose thing. If you expect honest, expert work done on your vehicle..look elsewhere. You will get little to no honesty or great customer service here. Save yourself the time and aggravation of having to spend again and take your vehicle elsewhere to be fixed right..the first time.

If u need transmission work done dont go to aamco. "Rene" will give u the okey doke on how they cant work figure out the problem without breaking down your transmission and then tell you its need rebuilding anyway. Once he has it apart he shoots u an outrageous price to rebuild, or 600 to put it bac together. On top of that they broke my axle during the "free tow" that u have to pay for on top of the 600 if u choose not to let them rob you for 4000 dollars. They broke a fitting on a antifreeze hose and left it off and tried to say they didnt do it until i demanded they fix it but it still took them over a month just to get a small hose fitting replaced for me. I recommend no one go thru this stay away from AAMCO!!!!!

I will start off by saying that Rene (AAMCO) is the best ever. I took my car to Pep Boys then to the dealer twice. They couldn't figure out the problem and made me spend money fixing things that didn't need fixing (at least not right now). After spending all that money I took it to AAMCO and Rene not only found and fixed the problem he has been helpful with all the other issues I have had with my vehicle(s). He knows his stuff and he has wonderful customer service skills (which you don't see nowadays). I won't go anywhere else now.

Overall it was a great expierence. Me being a woman and having no clue about a transmission Mr Rene put me at ease and explained everything to me step by step. I felt no pressure at all. He stayed on top of calling me back when he said he was. When my car was ready it was just like i left it but now with a brand new transmissionthanks guys!!!! -Kalua

Hello everyone, this is Wayne. Since 8 Nov 1995 i have been driving a 1996 camry V6. It has almost 242,000 miles on it. Brought it brand new. Never had no major problems with it. Just normal wear that comes from driving the same car for a while. About 2 weeks ago my check engine light came on, took it to Firestone. Diagonstic check stated that i have a code po770-shift sol e malfunction. Was told that my transmission is going out. Took it to2 other places, was qouted 1200-1500 dollars to fix. Finally when to Aamco on 2nd st in Irving. Spoke with Mr. Rene Moreno, was friendly and helpful guy. He had it checked out and quoted a price around $480.00. He had my car fixed, check engine light is off and my camry runs like it’s brand new. All in the same day. Even called 2 days later to see how my car is doing. Mr. Rene Moreno has a life long customer here. Rene is the best
