The first thing I would like to say is Thank You Serhat You are sincerely the best mechanic alive!!!\r\rI drive an 1.5 hours everytime I need my vehicle fixed just because I know Serhat is NOT going to rip me off. Being a 50ish year old woman- with no mechanical clue of what is needed to fix my car- my visits with Serhat are very pleasant and educational. Each and EVERYtime I need something done he will sit down with me and explain what the part does in great detail and also shows me the wear and tear on it. I have NEVER had another automotive business do that for me in my life So Thank You!!! The BEST experience ever with a mechanic - Brought my 2002 Chev Silv in for front brake pads and an oil change, (AFTER my mechanic in Houston had just replaced: 1 rotor, machined the other 3 & replaced 2 back brake pads). Serhat found that my old mechanic had damaged one rear rotor and had not even machined the front two!!!! After his thorough inspection of my engine/exterior/electrical systems, he found several issues: A/C pressure switch (replaced), serpentine & A/C compressor belts and A/C tensioner (fixed/replaced), he performed a rear differential service, oil change, wiper blade replacements, fixed the driver's side window switch, fixed a front light casing/angle. Also, he banged down part of the rear bumper (from when someone hit me causing difficulty in pulling down the tailgate) now the tailgate opens sooo much easier! This was all completed in ONE day at a cost I could not believe. I am an undergrad student with grad school and more beginning Fall of 2011; I now know, with confidence, my truck will last another 250,000 miles with no unexpected problems to arise, due to poor service from previous mechanics (being female, I never know if I am getting treated or charged fairly; or actually need services I am told or if the work is even performed!) It does not matter how far you live from Austin, IT'S WORTH THE DRIVE, (not only for the work he does and his prices) but for his honesty, integrity and his commitment to providing the BEST in all work he performs; the gas you spend is negligible in comparison to what you save in auto repair cost's at Abe's. He will work with you on costs and scheduling services needed, from urgent to those that can wait, to fit your budget and schedule. I have had two repairs done to complete satisfaction at Abe's Automotive (A/C & muffler repair). They did a great job and with much more speed than most shops. They are friendly and I am confident that their prices are right on-- I paid much less than was quoted at other places. I will absolutely continue to take my old P.o.S. to Abe's Automotive!!!

Summer is approaching. \r\rMy air conditioning was out. \r\rTwo other mechanics had no idea what the issue was. \r\rWhat was I going to do?\r\rI randomly googled a mechanic and found Abe's Automotive. I called them up on a Saturday and they said to come on in. \r\rWhat??? I thought Saturdays were busy. When I showed up I was greeted by Serhat and he immediately started working on my suburban. He was able to diagnose and fix my A/C within 45 minutes.\r\rSerhat is a stand up guy. He knows cars well. He is very fast and efficient, but also affordable.
