Above Physical Therapy

Being an Iyengar yoga teacher, I have pretty high watermark for anyone working with my injuries regarding knowledge about the body. John at Above Physical Therapy meets my standards and then some.

I came to him for a running injury and he had me back running in no time. He looks beyond the common "here, do these exercises to strengthen the muscles". He spent a lot of time analyzing my movements, muscles, fascia, discussed seemingly unrelated (but actually related) injuries, etc.

If you've been frustrated by lack of results from other physical therapists, these folks are for you. Their cross-team, multidisciplinary approach gets to the heart of the issue to get you back to wellness.

I had an amazing experience at Above Physical Therapy. I am new to the world of Pilates and my trainer was everything I could have hoped for. She was knowledgeable, patient, and helped me to push myself to being stronger and healthier. I would highly recommend Above Physical Therapy to all of my closest family and friends. The calm and relaxed environment paired with the quality of the equipment and the friendliness of the staff was everything I was looking for. Don't make the mistake of going anywhere else!

I've been running for 6 years, and looking for a comparable cross training regimen just as long. I've found it at Above Physical Therapy's Pilates private lessons! My muscles are longer, leaner, and more sculpted. My abs look better than ever, and most importantly, my distance and strength has increased significantly! Totally recommend Above!!

I have received a top notch, one of a kind experience at Above Physical Therapy. 5 years ago I had 3 shoulder sugeries and went through months of physical therapy at 3 different therapy centers. The result of this experience was minimal. I was rushed through my exercises and my physical therapists spent small increments of time with me. At Above Physical therapy I received phenomenal service and treatment. The therapist John spent an hour and a half of one on one time with me, and he does this everytime I go. I have finally gotten back my range of motion in my shoulders. This is something I have not experienced in 6 years. (before surgery)Above Physcial Therapy is one of a kind. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants results from physical therapy.
