Dentist or Whackist
Avoid this dentist like the plague. I went in June for an exam and the Dentist advised I had 13 cavities and 2 root canals. Since I floss, brush and rinse daily and am in good health no drinking soda or eating refined processed foods I found this to be a total blow. The Hygeinist summed it up to my recent pregnancy and breastfeeding. They gave me a ""deep"" cleaning assuring me my insurance would cover it and made up a treatment plan consisting of 4 visits and a bill of around $1400.00. K so after the deep cleaning they said it ended up costing $65.00 and with a remaining amount of around $60.00(unknown to me) left from my daughters visit, the bill was $125.00. 3wks later I recieved another bill for 35.00 and then another 75.00 for my cleaning..After these other billings I read some reviews saying Absolute Dental was a scam. I decided to get a second opinion to make sure I wasen't being had. I went to North hills dentistry and was told I has 3 tiny cavities that didn't even need fillings but just good care after eating and a mild form of gingivitis. The Dentist said he had some patients formerly with Absolute Dental who were given wack diagnosis from them as well. This new diagnosis relieved and enfuriated me especially considering my 11yr old nephew went to the same Absolute Dental office in Sparks for pain in one tooth..they ended up pulling 9 of his baby teeth saying they were too decayed for fillings or crowns..Stay away from this office please so not trust their diagnosis they are crooks..dental whackests playing on their patients trust and ignorance.

ITS A SCAM!!
The TV add says up to 70% off and gets you in their door. They have you pay $95 bucks for a discount program (that realy covers your x-rays)and have you sign a dockument that stresses the word ESTIMATE when they quote you a price for services. I was examined and had thousands of dollars worth of work to have done. I dont disagree with that, but when they gave me a list of fees for each procedure, i asked for a list of their standard fees so i could see how much of a discount I was recieving for paying cash and since I paid the $95. They kept asuring me that they did not have a list of standard fees and that the discount was already in their calculations. I was then sent to another office for a second doctor to assess my root canal work and they told me it was free. When I got to the appointment they gave me a packet of papers, flipped to a middle page, handed me a pen and told me to sign it. I read the ONLY page presented to me and it agreed to treatment and my agreement to pay for it. The entire Absolute Dental Network is a SCAM. They are taking advantage of the uninsured by using deceptive advertizing then getting you financialy liable before you even know how much treatment costs. Pay REAL dentists who do HONEST work and DO NOT go to Absolute Dental.

Save your time and money PLEASE!
BEWARE! I went in for a consultation and they said I had 13 cavities that needed to be filled immediately. They wouldn't give me a concrete price on what anything would cost to fix, they gave me estimated number, which I've learned you can never trust from anybody in any health care industry. I left and said I would go elsewhere after they were extremely rude to me when I asked about how much they were actually gonna charge me. They told me I needed white fillings in all my teeth, which my insurance doesn't pay for, it only pays for metal fillings. When I asked them about this they said it wasn't true (even though my insurance confirmed it over the phone while I waited in the office). I told them I would do the metal fillings that my insurance covered. They said "NO." The only fillings they said they would give me were white fillings (which are much more expensive and not as durable). So I left. When I went to another dentist, he told me that I only had 4 cavities and he told me up front exactly how much everything would cost. Absolute Dental was trying to get another $2000 from me that I didn't need. Please always get a second opinion when going to dentist, they will always try to rip you off, especially this place. Bad business!
