Accutemp is very clean, courteous, honest, and professional. They just left my house. They keep their appointment window, fit you in their schedule and have someone come out immediately if possible,... and maintain consistent communication with you. The technician, David, even went as far as wearing booties in my house without me saying anything; I did not expect this. He helped me and gave me options for issues with my AC. He even gave me a courtesy inspection of my furnace. I can tell that their technicians are technically sound and proficient (trust me on this; I would know). Their service charge is cheap, too, and they did not sacrifice quality service for a cheap price. I am excited about establishing a long-term relationship with them.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
I recently had my furnaces serviced for our winter service. The technician that came out was on time and courteous. David Browning went above and beyond. Not only did he make sure not to make any... mess, but he alerted me that we could possibly have some critter/rodent issue in our attic. I called a wildlife company that day, and it was confirmed that we had a very small issue, but only bc David let us on to it before it got out of hand. If he hadn't told us, we might not have known until it was too late and the critters could have possible caused a house fire from chewing through wires. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for going that extra mile. You have customers for life.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

Technician replaced a part and tried to convince me that the control board was failing so I needed to replace the unit for $1,800. I paid $150 and the furnace stopped working 5 minutes after tech left. I contacted the office and spoke with the manager Cheryl Young and explained the unit was not working after replacing the part and she would not give any type of refund and stated she would have to charge an additional $45 trip fee to go back out and do another diagnosis. She was rude and argumentative on the phone. Very unprofessional. I got a second opinion by a trusted source and the problem was simply the thermostat which cost only $35.00. Do not trust this company!!! They simply want your money...not a reputable company.

We regret that your experience with our company was not a positive one. After investigating the original service call placed on 11/14/14, our technician confirmed that when he arrived at your rental property, the run capacitor in your furnace was defective. He then replaced the capacitor for a total of $137 after getting approval. This amount also included a coupon for $39 discounting the service call repair by $40. He then found the control board was failing and the ignitor weak but both were still operating at that time. The control board was showing intermittent codes and visually watched the board flash 3 separate codes instructing him the board will fail at some point. Given the age of the unit along with the parts that he believed would need replacing in the future, it was his opinion to replace the furnace versus put more repair cost in it. Please know we strive to make our customers happy and satisfied with our services. We again regret that your experience with out company was not a positive one. Sincerely, AccuTemp Heating-Cooling, Inc.
We have been customers since this company opened. We have had the twice a year check ups since they started them. Mike Connell came for our summer checkup. He installed new filters as well as a new uv light. Our AC was in great shape. We have had the same service person for a long time. They have been great in emergency situations such as when the AC wouldn't come on at midnight. It needed a part, but Mike got it running and came the next day with the part or the time when the lightning struck for the second time in a year. These people are just GREAT from the owner to the service personnel to the office staff.

One of our a/c units was not working, so they came out and told us we need new evaporator coil that had a leak...$1700. They recommended a new unit. We had another company to get a second opinion and they said they could not check for a leak with device without it working, and everything was taped up and there is no way that the other company could have checked it. Everything was left disconnected. He put on a new capacitor, got it running, and absolutely no leak, full of freeon. I would not use them.

In response to the complaint sent by Scocat. We would like to try to rectify this complaint but cannot locate this customer based on the information provided. We have searched our records but cannot find where our company recommended a replacement evaporator coil for $1700. Once we are provided the customers information and we are able to locate the invoice from where we provided service we will be able to investigate this properly. Sincerely, AccuTemp Inc.
I am a regular customer of AccuTemp on their twice yearly maintenance program. Michel Purvis visited last week and did an outstanding job. He offers suggestions for improving the efficiency without pressuring to purchase additional items, tunes up the system, explains issues and addresses any concerns. Always careful to avoid tracking in dirt from outside. Easy to work with. Highly recommended!

I called them to come by to check on my furnace at my office. I guy came out, not nice, clearly upset by the fact that he had to wait until I finished helping one customer. I told him where the unit was and that he could go ahead and check it. It took him 5 min to "diagnose" the problem. He told me the unit was too old and the heat exchange was rusted and wouldn't light up. Then, he gave me a $100 bill and said, "Someone needs to take care of this". Fine, paid him. I asked him if he could give a quote to replace it, he said an engineered would need to come out, and I said fine, please have him come by for quote. In the meanwhile I decided to get a second opinion. I called another company, they came by, and fixed it for only $50! So I called Accutemp back and told them what happened, and that I wanted my $100 back. They sent the same guy out with his supervisor. Now, they pull out a camera and told me that the unit had holes on the exchange pipes and it was too dangerous to use that unit. I asked him why didn't he discuss this issue when he was here first, he not only said he did, but he also said he wrote it on the work order. I said he didn't, he confronted me saying he did, so I pull the work order out and sure enough he didn't write anything about the wholes in the exchange pipes or about the unit being to dangerous. His supervisor read it and agreed with me, but his reaction was "Even though he didn't write it, it is what it is and there is nothing we can do"

In response to the negative review given "Poor Service and a Ripoff": While our company always regrets having a dissatisfied customer, we stand by our original diagnosis of a compromised heat exchanger on this aged furnace. This review is very vain and incorrect, the customer was unable to provide a valid invoice to us indicating the other company's repair for $50. It is not possible to repair a heat exchanger with the level of deterioration we observed upon our inspection of the unit by both my service technician and operations manager. It is therefore our opinion that this customer is not being at all truthful. In any case we happily offer 100% customer satisfaction and the entire amount paid was refunded. Should there be any question regarding this review I would welcome the opportunity to discuss it further. I can be reached at the office 770-672-6963 or my mobile device 404-391-3206 anytime. When our heater quit on us last winter, very late on a cold, cold night, Accutemp came right out - even though we hadn't been a customer - and fixed the problem. They've been servicing our system since then and have been extremely punctual, efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Purchased a new furnace about 6 months ago and at the same time I purchased the yearly maintenance plan. The install went great and they called with a reminder when the maintenance check was due! Chris Roth, one of AccuTemp's employees, was here for the install and he performed the check-up. He's on time, quick, neat and very professional!

Lightening hit my outside a/c unit. Accutemp discovered the issue when doing rountine maintenance, thankfully before it got really hot. They were helpful in determining the best replacement to ensure it met the current environmental coding and helpful with providng me the information I needed to file my insurance claim. They came out the day after I called to schedule the installation. Mike B and Mike P worked together to get the a/c installed and running in only a few hours. Thanks Accutemp!! It will be a happy summer with my a/c.

Our A/C stopped working two days before the 4th of July with 100+! We called three A/C firms and Accutemp is the only Company to return my call. We had them to replace both units since the original units had lastest for 13 years and was builders grade units. Accutemp advised I could repair the two units or replace them with new units. It was my choice to replace with new units. He advised they would be at my home the next day, which was the 4th of July. They arrived early at 7:45 A.M. on the 4th which is a Holiday but not for Accutemp! They replaced the two new units and they are working great. The Cobb County inspector came out today, 07-25-2012 to inspect Accutemps work and told me they did a great job installing the two units. I gave the inspector a bottle of cold water and thanked him. Do not call three A/C firms when your units stops, but call one "ACCUTEMP HEATING-CO0LING, INC., MARIETTA, GA PHONE - 770-744-4808. Please thank Michel Puruis and Steven Roy for a great job installing the two units in 100+ on a Holiday, July 4, 2012!

We called AccuTemp when our AC stopped working. They sent out a representative that very day. I was impressed with the knowledge of Pete (our service technician) and felt confident with his assessment of the issue. The next day our new AC was delivered and installed AHEAD of schedule!!! Everyone from the receptionist to the installers were friendly and courteous; making a very uncomfortable situation much better. Like I said, "Thoroughly Impressed!" Thank you All!!

These guys are pros. Our A/C broke down during one of the hottest days. Mike Ritchey did an excellent job providing the estimates. Another big name company we called failed miserably in this aspect. The installation work done by Mike Brynes and his partner was excellent. After the install they made sure they cleaned up the area. Bottom line, they did a high quality work. I will need to replace my old furnace in a year or so. I will be calling these guys to do the work.

My Upstairs A/C unit went out on a Friday, during the worse heat wave in 100 years. I called on Saturday morning and they said they would have a technician here between 10 and 1. At 10:05 the technician showed up and informed me that the unit needed to be replaced, (something AccuTemp had been warning me about for a couple of years). They immediately made arrangements to have the unit replaced first thing Monday morning and arranged for affordable financing. Two guys showed up first thing Monday had the unit replaced and operating, and were gone before lunch. Outstanding service and for me the best part was they were here when they said they would be and didn't leave me sitting around waiting for them to show up.
