It's great to have a hardware store within walking distance when I'm in the middle of a project and suddenly discover I need another box of nails or a tube of caulk. The inventory is quite comprehensive and unlike Home Depot, people will help you find stuff and even give you some tips on getting our project done. Okay, you may pay a little more for some things, but then again, you don't have to buy the huge quantities you sometimes get stuck with at a big box store.
