My renters informed me that the water heater wasn't working. Action Plumbing said they could have someone out there to repair it at 0900 next day. I told them to please make sure the plumbing tech called me while he was there to discuss options (repair or replace, etc). Kim assured me they would. I gave her both my cell and home numbers. Next morning never heard anything, so I called & was told they will make sure the tech calls me. At 1135, I called again, and was told they will contact the tech by radio and have him call me when he gets there. I again gave them my number and said please pass to him. At 1355 , I still hadn't heard anything. Now, I wouldn't normally pester people so much, but I really didn't want my renters going another day without hot water. So, I called Action Plumbing again and was told the tech was there at 0800 and left. I asked why he didn't call me - I was told he tried call me but couldn't reach me. I said "When? I gave you two phone numbers and neither one of those numbers was called." John tells "we don't work on Whirlpool water heaters. But, we can sell you one of ours." I asked him "Why didn't you guys tell me this when I called yesterday! If you have some absurd policy where you only work on particular water heaters, don't you think it would be a good idea to ask people what heater they have when they call?! And why didn't you tell me this this morning at 0800 so I could make other arrangements?"

We were a long time customer of Action Plumbing and senior citizens on a fixed income, they "ripped us off" (charged $130 for a 5 minute toilet adjustment)and were rude when we called to complain about it. No customer loyalty!
