I've been at adrenaline for almost a year now. Here's the truth about this gym: YES. They really focus on their group exercise classes. However, idk about the other reviewers, but when I first took a tour to see this gym, this was their very obvious selling point. If you aren't interested in group fitness, this gym might not be for you. That being said, I also see and talk to quite a few athletes who do figure competitions. They've been with Adrenaline for years and are more than happy. I've never had a problem finding weights to use in the free weight section. There has always been a machine or bench free when I needed it. The classes are usually FANTASTIC. Incredible instructors who really care. Especially Jake, Candace, and Monika. Are there some super snooty rude instructors too? Of course. This is life. If you don't like one or two instructors, there are 10 more that are down to earth and always helpful. The locker rooms...yes they are pretty nasty. They've been getting worse recently. I NEVER EVER walk around in there w/o flipflops on. The carpets in front of the showers are growing things. I'm only in the locker room for 5 min max. I don't shower there often enough to really care that much. Do I wish they would invest a little more money into a good cleaning staff and shower renovations? YES. Will the kind of gross bathroom make me cancel my membership? NO.

Was good 2 years ago, but would not join again. Bad for working out solo. Awful parking situation. This gym now almost completely caters to people who want to take classes, ignoring the needs of people who just want to work out solo. If you like Thai Boxing, Spin Classes, and Body Pump classes, then this is the place for you. It's relatively clean and the people who work there do seem to know what they are talking about. But forget it if you want to work out solo. Be prepared for loud music coming from 2 or 3 different areas of the gym that aren't necessarily closed off. Loud enough to be heard even if you have your own headphones. Also be prepared to be almost run over as you are walking by throngs of people running laps around the gym as part of a class. Or to find out there are no dumbbells under 30lbs left because people in another class took all of those. The machines and weight equipment keep getting moved every other month to more inconvenient locations, many not in front of mirrors anymore, to make more and more room for more and more classes. And the parking is awful.

Adrenaline is THE place in Atlanta for group fitness. The Body Pump classes are awesome and really gave me some wonderful results. I joined this gym when it first opened, and it seems like they just keep adding great ammenities. Hot yoga is included in the base membership! That is HUGE! The vibe and energy in the gym is very positive, and people of all fitness levels and backgrounds are all members. It is not a "meat market" like some other gyms in the city. Parking can be a challenge, but it is worth it for all of the other positives that the gym offers. Great facility!!!

This place is dirty, expensive, and mismanaged. The free weight section was reduced in size to accomodate boxing/MMA and "Fusion" both of which require costly additions to your membership. The equipment is not maintained and is changed around constantly with no notice. There is no where to park ever. Compared to most other gyms in this price range there are no amenities. It's an overpriced dump in my opinion with management that only seems to care about making more money by never keeping the equipment up and trying to get you to join newer more expensive services. When you first sign up they give your information to a Chiropractor who has an office next door. They proceed to call you non-stop trying to offer you a free consultation which is totally unprofessional and annoying.

Besides the place being dirty (on most nights 3 out of 4 toilets in the men's locker room weren't flushed and had huge dumps still floating around in them in addition to the viruses that began to grow under my fingernails and feet shortly after joining - although I cant prove they came from Adrenaline it was interesting that I never contracted anything before joining and only days after joining I was sitting in my Dr's office holding a prescription for antibiotics) and the overall rudeness of their staff (with a few exceptions) they tend to say one thing and do another and will lie to you with a strait face when it comes to your membership agreement. Join at your own risk but when you try to cancel your membership you may be in for a BIG surprise. There are MUCH better alternatives to Adrenaline. Take the time to look because it will be worth your while.

I have recntly joined Adrenaline for the Fitness Challenge and am really impressed. The facility is first class, the trainers and staff are friendly & helpful and the classes are fun & excellent work outs! They offer free childcare & everyone there seems to be focused on fitness and not the meatmarket snootiness that happens at some other gyms. I have tried almost all of the classes and have liked all of them. I am definitely thinking of switching to this gym fulltime and canceling my membership at another gym I've been at for 7 years b/c I am so impressed. I highly recommend it! =)

I am really frustrated with Adrenaline. When I joined the gym, it was well maintained and clean. More and more machines are becoming inoperable and none of the machines have been repaired. It's hard to find equipment to use when the facility is moderately busy. There are rarely towels in the locker room and the bathrooms smell dirty now. If Adrenaline doesn't get their act together, I'm going to demand my money back, since I paid in full for a year.

I love this place. It still has that "brand new" feel to it and it is easy to get on cardio equipment anytime -even during "peak" hours. It is more expensive than my other gym but well worth it! I like the fact that they offer fresh towels for guest use and have a full coffee/smoothie bar.

My husband and I joined because the location is perfect for us (close to home and work). The staff is numerous and friendly and the place itself is enormous! We liked the low pressure sales tour that we got and it's a monthly price, no contracts or BS. I get personal training from James Evans, he's a real hoot and he kicks my butt every session. There are tons of cardio machines, weight circuit machines and free weights. If you like it, they have it. They have Les Mills (I've never heard of him either, but it looks really effective) classes, including Boot Camp and Spinning. If you like diet plans that provide meals, there's a service there where you can buy food. (they have tastings periodically). I love that it's just a place to work out. No meat market or girlies traipsing around in thongs. No meat heads grunting and huffing and sweating on the stuff. Just regular people trying to get or stay in shape. I especially love the women's sauna. I've met some really great folks in there! When we remodeled our bathroom we used the shower facilities every day. Clean, hot showers with plenty of privacy. Love the place, you should join!
