An honest review..., 2/06/2012

I've been at adrenaline for almost a year now. Here's the truth about this gym: YES. They really focus on their group exercise classes. However, idk about the other reviewers, but when I first took a... tour to see this gym, this was their very obvious selling point. If you aren't interested in group fitness, this gym might not be for you. That being said, I also see and talk to quite a few athletes who do figure competitions. They've been with Adrenaline for years and are more than happy. I've never had a problem finding weights to use in the free weight section. There has always been a machine or bench free when I needed it. The classes are usually FANTASTIC. Incredible instructors who really care. Especially Jake, Candace, and Monika. Are there some super snooty rude instructors too? Of course. This is life. If you don't like one or two instructors, there are 10 more that are down to earth and always helpful. The locker rooms...yes they are pretty nasty. They've been getting worse recently. I NEVER EVER walk around in there w/o flipflops on. The carpets in front of the showers are growing things. I'm only in the locker room for 5 min max. I don't shower there often enough to really care that much. Do I wish they would invest a little more money into a good cleaning staff and shower renovations? YES. Will the kind of gross bathroom make me cancel my membership? NO.

Good if you like taking classes. Awful parking., 1/03/2011

Was good 2 years ago, but would not join again. Bad for working out solo. Awful parking situation. This gym now almost completely caters to people who want to take classes, ignoring the needs of... people who just want to work out solo. If you like Thai Boxing, Spin Classes, and Body Pump classes, then this is the place for you. It's relatively clean and the people who work there do seem to know what they are talking about. But forget it if you want to work out solo. Be prepared for loud music coming from 2 or 3 different areas of the gym that aren't necessarily closed off. Loud enough to be heard even if you have your own headphones. Also be prepared to be almost run over as you are walking by throngs of people running laps around the gym as part of a class. Or to find out there are no dumbbells under 30lbs left because people in another class took all of those. The machines and weight equipment keep getting moved every other month to more inconvenient locations, many not in front of mirrors anymore, to make more and more room for more and more classes. And the parking is awful.

Short and sweet

I could go on and on about all the great things at World Wide Wellness. However, the most important thing to me is that, Dr. Rechtman has cured all my aches and pains! \r\r

Chronic headaches relieved

After 9 months of chronic daily headaches, 3 neurologists, 1 ENT doctor and 4 MRIs I decided to try a chiropractor to figure out why I was having headaches and finally find some relief. After only one visit, I felt 100 times better then when I walked in the door. I was amazed how quickly I had relief from something no one could help me with for 9 months. I now am able to lead my life headache free without daily medication and feel fabulous all thanks to my chiropractor.

Back to volleyball without pain

I injured my lower back playing volleyball one summer and the injury slowed me down significantly. A few months passed with no change, I still walked like an old man. I decided to see Dr. Rechtman with hopes that he could make me feel better. After about six visits, I could see big changes in the way I moved. The pain in my lower back was gone and I was able to get back on the volleyball court. He also explained that playing a physical sport like volleyball, could continue to put pressure on my spine. Rather than give up my hobby, I decided to get regular adjustments to keep my spine and my game in line. \r\r

Former Skeptic- Now More Movement with Less Pain

I was not a fan of chiropractors and felt they did more harm than good. However, I decided to take advantage of the free appointment I was given when I joined the gym. At that time, I was experiencing pain in my wrist, elbow and shoulder. After several visits, my movement had increase and pain had decreased. I could open jars and lift my arm above my head without any pain. I am now convinced of the benefits of having a chiropractor. World Wide Wellness has given me a pain free body and I am very pleased with the results. I recommend seeing Dr. Rechtman to everyone, especially those who are skeptics! \r\r

Less Pain and Discomfort

I saw Dr. Rechtman at the suggestion of my trainer. I had stiffness and pain in my lower back but did not really think it was anything except inactivity. However, an x-ray revealed degenerating disk disease of my lower back- more serious that I thought. Dr. Rechtman began treatments and worked with my trainer to map a training program to strengthen and enhance my back. I feel less pain and discomfort in my lower back- it's working. Last week I began having numbness in my neck. Now a week later and the numbness is already gone. I am feeling better than I have in years and have more energy. Thanks Doc!

Pain Free Work Day and Insurance Navigation

\rI first saw Dr. Rechtman around 4 years ago. As you get older, your memory and back start to fail at about the same time. The excruciating pain I had made my quality of life terrible. Now I see Dr. Rechtman once or twice a week and I am completely comfortable. For years now, Dr. Rechtman has been my trusted healthcare provider and my friend. He lets me continue to do what I do while simultaneously navigating the treacherous water of the health care insurance industry. He and his friendly professional staff cheerfully and constantly assure me a pain free workday. I owe him many thanks and I highly recommend him. Dr. Rechtman has been a lifesaver.

Significant Relief

I had visited many chiropractors before, but never received anything other than temporary relief. Upon meeting and then being treated on a regular basis by Dr. Rechtman, my back pain and the accompanying stiffness have been significantly reduced. \r\r

Feeling Better and Relaxed

For years, I suffered from neck and back pain. Sometimes it caused headaches and additional stress. A couple of months ago a dear friend told me how tired and old I looked because of the stress I was experiencing. That did it for me! I decided to take advantage of Dr. Rechtman's services at World Wide Wellness. After only a few adjustments, I feel great and continue to feel better! If I had been able to relax as Dr. Rechtman kept telling me, the effects of his therapy might have taken hold sooner. Now I look forward to my sessions and the relaxing moments. \r\r

Fast and Convenient Pain Relief

Dr. Rechtman helped me with some back pain that had been building over a period of weeks. One visit provided dramatic improvement, and after a few treatments I was much, much better. The office is located right by my gym, and their schedule had hours that allowed me to come in outside of work hours.

Great Classes!

Adrenaline is THE place in Atlanta for group fitness. The Body Pump classes are awesome and really gave me some wonderful results. I joined this gym when it first opened, and it seems like they just keep adding great ammenities. Hot yoga is included in the base membership! That is HUGE! The vibe and energy in the gym is very positive, and people of all fitness levels and backgrounds are all members. It is not a "meat market" like some other gyms in the city. Parking can be a challenge, but it is worth it for all of the other positives that the gym offers. Great facility!!!

Worst gym of all time

This place is dirty, expensive, and mismanaged. The free weight section was reduced in size to accomodate boxing/MMA and "Fusion" both of which require costly additions to your membership. The equipment is not maintained and is changed around constantly with no notice. There is no where to park ever. Compared to most other gyms in this price range there are no amenities. It's an overpriced dump in my opinion with management that only seems to care about making more money by never keeping the equipment up and trying to get you to join newer more expensive services. When you first sign up they give your information to a Chiropractor who has an office next door. They proceed to call you non-stop trying to offer you a free consultation which is totally unprofessional and annoying.
