We contracted Advantek through our AHS Home Warranty and we couldn't happier. The service man "Mike" was courteous and had our refrigerator back in fine working order after he arrived. You can count on a job well done from Advantek.

I'm so used to marginal home service that I couldn't wait to write this review! Mike was pleasant and did what he said, Frank showed up at our door on time and got right to work. I'm in the technical service business and could tell he was competent and thorough. The price was what they advertised too! Very Very pleased. It was a dryer, so the before and after wouldn't show anything, but it now works.

After a nightmare installation with another company, AM home delivery, Advantek saved the day. They came out promptly and properly installed my brand new Verona gas range. The previous installers left parts all over the kitchen, installed the gas regulator backwards, and left the gas on while it was LEAKING! Thankfully I know have a beautiful new fully functional stove. Apart from the great work, it was just such a pleasure to have a friendly installer who even apologized for the previous company's shoddy work. After so much stress I was so grateful for his kindness and excellent skill with the range.

Advantek charged me $346 for a documented 45 minutes of work on my stove to tighten a gas line. They arrived over an hour late, and when I called twice to ask about the bill, they never returned my calls. On the follow up, the technician got the manager on the phone who called me a liar and raised his voice with me. Horrible experience.

I thank Kudza for the opportunity to reply to this homeowners comment, I have become aware of these comments & will be replying to all, both good & bad. I do have a deep voice and it can become loud as some have told me, so I'm sorry if I did raise my voice. However it would have been without intent to any customer. Advantek Service could not maintain a A+ Rating with the BBB if that were the case. As to the "significant overcharge" I would like to list two details the customer forgot to mention about the repair on Feb. 20, 2014. 1)The technician was traveling to this customer out of our area to a round trip total of 148 miles & three hrs from home office. 2)The unit we were repairing was not a Whirlpool or Ge range, it is a $12,000 French made LaCornue Range that requires extra knowledge and training. Please note we serviced and repaired their LaCornue, and the customer paid by check & we will stand behind our work with our warranty. Again if I raised my voice I'm sorry, Kudza thank you for the chance to reply to this review.
Refered by a friend, I spoke to Mike(GM)he had me "reboot" my oven b4 sending a technician out. When I still had an issue Ed came to my home, & fixed my oven. He was gracious,& clean cut. Advantek is knowledgeabe, upfront,& honest, which is a TRUE GEM when your talking about your home & family!!

Seriously the worst experience I ve ever had with any kind of repair. First the repairman said he would be at our house between 8:00 am and 10:00 am, at 10:30 am recevied a call that he would be late. The invoice and the estimate had the bare minimum explanation and the wrong model # was written on the invoice making it impossible for our insurance adjuster to get the info needed. When I called to ask if I could get the specifics of the estimate, Stephanie said "We don t do that" . I asked if she could give me the part # of the piece that needed to be replaced and she said I was aggravating her . She then put on a gentleman who told me that everything I needed was on the invoice. He interupted me whenever I tried to talk and told me that I knew nothing and that my insurance company knew nothing and he had been doing this for over 30 years. I noticed too late that they were not members of the BBB Bascially it was a waste of $89

Professional and knowledgeable, but out of sight expensive. Was quoted almost $600 (on top of fixed $89 fee) to repair my washer. I decided not to let them fix at that price. Subsequently found that parts cost was less than $75 and time to fix for experienced tech was probably less than 45 minutes. I *might* have let them do it for half of the quoted price, but that would still have been high. UPDATE: I Replaced the parts that the service tech said were bad and that didn't fix the problem. Did some research online and found the most common problem with these washers matched my symptoms exactly. Ordered the part (< $20) and replaced in less than 30 minutes. Lowering my rating to 2 stars due to lack of knowledge.

I had a wine cooler & dishwasher that needed repair, and I was able to call and get a service person out the same day. My dishwasher was a minor issue fixed asap, but wine cooler needed a new part. The part was ordered, and the repair was done the same day that they called to tell me that the part was in. The easiest and quickest service possible. Everyone I spoke to or worked with was very professional. Highly recommend.

I had a Thermador Stovetop that had issues ignighting. I initally used another company that is highly rated on this website and after 3 visits and failing to actually repair my stove I grew frustrated and contacted Advantek. The repairman arrived on time and immediately correctly diagnosed the problem. The part was a little pricey, but that's because my stove is a Thermador. He came back in a couple days and repaired it quickly and my stove has worked perfectly since. I couldn't be happier with my experience.
