Did Not Listen to Problem, 4/08/2011

We have been heartbroken over the loss of our dog under the care of Affordable Care Vet. Our dog was sick throwing up, we took him in and told him how listless and ill he was, they took an xray and... found nothing, just gave him a shot to stop the vomiting. My son and I were not happy with that, we told the vet he was very ill and something was terribly wrong...we did not get a response only to take him home the shot would help. Well, he died during the night, the shot stopped the vomiting which we feel caused his death. They should have listened to us and did further testing a Barium test to see if there was blockage, which there was that could not be seen on the xray. He was only 5 yrs old and our entire family was just devastated the week before Christmas. My son, who is 21 yrs old, felt the vet just wanted to get on to the next appt. and really felt he was only there to make the money and not really listen to the owner of the pet. Our poor dog suffered that night because he could not vomit and we feel just suffocated, it was awful watching him struggle for his last breaths. Our hearts are just broken, we miss him, he did not have to die.
