Affordable Handyman

I called this company out to fix a mold and water damage problem!! They came out within an hour and remediated all the mold issues and rebuilt my kitchen in one week!!!! Awesome to work with!!!:-)

Working with this company has been absolutely terrible! This is a horrible, sleazy contractor!
I needed some home repairs and asked for an estimate. They state that they have been doing this for 10 years & so they ought to be able to provide an estimate that's reliable.
They quoted $700 to fix the base of 3 posts, paint, and restain a front door. They requested $375.00 in order to begin the work, which I charged to a credit card.
Before the work was completed they charged $856.00 to my credit card without even notifying me. I requested receipts as the estimate for materials was originally $100 instead of $256. They had charged their drinks, $40 (10 lbs) of nails, and other miscellaneous items that were in no way necessary for such a small project. They then tacked on 20% because they claimed to get a 15% contractor discount from Lowes. They didn't. I verified the items at Lowes myself, no discount, just adding on an extra 20% in fees. In addition, they added a 4% charge to use my credit card. This totalled $33.00. Again without my permission or consent. Mr. Hunt told me he would refund my money after opening a complaint with the better business bureau and reporting the fraudulent charges to my credit card company. More than a month later and after several phone calls I still have not received my refund. What he did instead was to make a copy of a check in my name for $156 which sent to my credit card company but never to me.
AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Awesome owner and awesome crews that worked on our basement!! they totally renovated our basement under budget and before scheduled completion!!!! Will use again!!!!

Also, they get better deals on materials especially granite and flooring material ceramic tile and hardwoods!!!!

The crew of Affordable Handyman came out to my house and bilt us a fabulous new two car garage off West Wesley in Buckhead. They also did a fabulous job replacing rotted wood on our exterior and painting our brick and siding. Will use them over and over:-)

I contracted with Affordable Handyman to finish out my basement. They were able to save us money on our hardwood floors and our carpet because of their connections with suppliers. Great Prices and Better Installers than Lowes or Home Depot!!! I will not hesitate to use them again:-)
