I took my car for an AC r12 to r134 conversion. Everything was fine my ac blew cold for about 2 weeks after they did the job and all of a sudden i noticed it blowing less cold.My assumption was maybe one of the fittings they installed came loose(as i had heard can happen normally with these conversions)So i took it back to Tracy(hes the only guy in the front). After a while he came back and asked if someone had messed with my AC because the fittings his mecanic installed were broken. He even showed me the pieces. Of course no one had touched my car since he did and i explained that to him. He then told me he would have it checked out. So all this time im thinking well great this sounds like a part warranty issue...Maybe hell charge me labor and il be ok with that. But no...15 minutes pass and he comes back and tells me my hoses are actually leaking though the rubber! and he hits me with a 200 dollar quote. Mind you, my car is a 1992 and before this conversion, the car had r12 and was blowing cold for 3 years with no problems,no leaks no nothing. The reason i decided to do the conversion in the first place is R12 is super expensive but had i known this establishment would do me like this i probably would have paid for the r12 at an honest shop. This place is no good!Who knows how long and to how many people they have done this to(may be the reason he is in bussiness for so long) Overall bad experience. Gives other shops the bad reputation we all come to know from cliche
