And I dealt with the owner of the company! The installation process was as seamless as the gutters. We were happy until we noticed that one stretch of the gutter wasn't draining. We got on the roof to clean it out and there was nothing preventing the water to drain but the positioning of the gutter. It was installed wrong and thats it. Because it hardly rains in San Diego, we didn't notice for almost 3 years. Knowing that it has been so long since they were installed we weren't sure if this would be covered by the warranty given to us. I called and spoke to the owner of the company and explained my issue. He immediately became defensive and almost condicending that I had taken so long to notify him. I was taken back a little at his attitude because at that point, I had just asked if he could come by and take a look at it. Still in a condecending tone he went on to tell me that he's a very busy person and would try to make it by the following day at 3PM. I gave him my cell phone number, address and name. He asked if this was the best number to reach me at, and I affirmed. I thought to myself, "he's not going to follow through". And I was right it's been almost a week and a half and still no call. I'm calling out a new gutter guy and pay him to fix the botched installation job from Affordable Rain Gutters. I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE.
