Wow, if I didn't know any better I would think that there are 2 Ahwatukee Common Veterinary after reading a couple of the other reviews, but since I know that there is only 1, than I must tell you - .they are the #1 Vet in the area. Dr. Elliott, Dr. Jen and the whole staff treat each one of their patients like they are their own pet. They go out of their way to make both the pet and the owner feel comfortable with any and all treatments. We have had 2 pets go to ACVH and have never been happier with the care that our pets have been given. I would, and have recommended ACVH to many of my friends and others and will keep doing so in the future. For those of you who think that ACVH is too expensive, like the old saying - ." You get what you pay for". My doggie Dora is priceless to our family and I know that she gets the best care that she can there. Thanks Dr. E., Dr. Jen and everyone for making Dora (and her mom) feel so comfortable when we go see all of you.

I have taken my dogs and cats here for several years...great place and wonderful staff and doctors! They are very kind to my animals and family. By the way...isn't the purpose of a quarantine to allow NO contact so humans (ie the vet clinic staff) do not get exposed to rabies? The definition of the word alone should suffice.

I was required to quarantine my 2 little dog companions for 10 days. I had been looking for a local vet and was agonizingly disappointed. I would have been much better off taking my pets to the county, where they were very helpful and supportive of the situation. This practice treated my dogs and me like criminals, refused to provide any additional care while they were in quarantine and when they were released, it was obvious that the vet had never read the intake report. They wasted our time and money, unnecessarily, and made a bad situation even worse than it needed to be. I cringe every time I drive by.

I was very disappointed on how my Husky was treated during a week long bording. When I picked up my Husky they told me that she had soiled her blanket and that it was in the washer as we spoke and that would have to pick it up later that day. I had no problem with this, because acidents happen. They also told me that they had cleaned her off. This was not true. She had it all over her side and front paws. I had to clean her when I got home. Since this incident, I have not returned here to board my animals. As a medical vet, I have had no problems with this service.
