Aitcheson Carol T MD

I'm kind of cheating by writing this review - I lived in Atlanta for 14 years and left there 11 years ago. For the 14 years I was there, Dr. Aitchenson was my PCP. I'm in the process of searching for another PCP in this town where I've lived for the last 11 years. I never had to "shop" in Atlanta. Never wanted to change doctors - Dr. Aitcheson is the best.

Dr. Carol Aitcheson has been my doctor for many years (over 10). She is responsible for saving my life more than once. Best diagnostician around and I should know because I've worked in medicine for over 30 years. She is truly gifted and you will know it when you meet her.

My wife and I have been treated by Dr. Aitcheson for at least the last 12 years. Without exaggeration, she was directly responsible for saving my wife’s life. During an annual physical, my wife made an off hand comments about a small “knot” on her jaw. Dr Aitcheson examined the area and immediately referred her to an ENT specialist that afternoon. It turned out to be pre-cancerous. An operation has restored her to good. What makes this anecdote so poignant is that just a few months earlier a friend of hers had the same condition that was missed by her physician. It developed into cancer. She has had numerous disfiguring operations since. As a medical malpractice attorney, I do not praise doctors lightly. In Dr. Aitcheson’s case, she has my full faith and trust. There is no one better.

Dr. Aitcheson has been my doctor for many years and is always interested in my complete well being, beyond whatever I might be in for at the time. Her staff is great ! She's the best ! The only problem might be getting an appointment, because she's so popular and spends so much time with each patient.

Dr. Carol Aitcheson is personable and smart; her office is well-run and efficient. I recently switched to her practice when my former physician retired. She gave me a thorough exam, including x-rays and EKG, and blood tests, and the wait for each technician was minimal.
