Great service, great people, 12/20/2009

My 2 boys have taken music lessons there (one still is). Very affordable with great teachers. Prices for music gear are terrific and they will go out of their way to get you want you need. I... needed my very old guitar restrung - paid about $5 for the strings and they restrung it for free in about 15 minutes right after I bought the strings. Highly recommend them!

Alan's repairs amps, 3/31/2009

I have to admit I like the mom & pop music stores. So I couldn't pass up the chance to give them a try. I had them repair my practice amp that needed an overhaul. They tested and repaired 3 areas... of concern on my amp. Tubes, input jack, and the power jack all for a great price. I was expecting an estimate well over a hundred bucks, but was surprised all preamp tubes replaced and both input jacks fixed for under 75. Amp hasn't sounded this good in years. If you need repair work done on your gear, give Alan's a try.
