We have had several equipment failures. This company took a new system and patched it into an old system. Like putting lipstick on a pig. When the alarm activated due to system error WE were blamed. And, they did not type in our password correctly so the police came. No apology. Embarrassing! Like I said, they locked us in for 3 years and now treat us like dirt.

Do not be a strategic partner. Shannon does not like to pay you or answer the phone for that matter. You suppose to get paid a 100 dollar referral gift card for strategic sales. But Shannon does not like to pay. She make you wait weeks. And when you call Her boss,He take your info and say he will call you back, but never do. So people out here use a good company. One that pays there workers. Spread the word! They recording when you call is a lie.

I recently had AMSA activate the alarm system in our new home. From the very first phone call to set the service up to the final installation, everyone that I spoke with was so friendly and very helpful. Robin, in the office, was very informative about the companies products and services. She also was very quick to respond to my phone calls and emails. It's so nice to be able to have a point of contact instead of an automated system where you are transferred to any of 100 people in a call center! Josh came to our home to install and active the system. He was very professional, but also had a great sense of humor. He explained everything that he was doing and walked me through operating the system thoroughly. I would definitely recommend AMSA if you are in search of a great alarm motoring company to work with!

I called this company and spoke to Robin Jackson in sales, who was fantastic, my situation was quite different as I live in London but have a house in Atlanta, in 30315, she made the process very easy, and this company was able to use my UK visa card, my tenant was also helpful and communicated the installation with Robin. Top marks and I have no problems in recommending them, Regards gary

Our experience with AMSA has been great so far. We moved into a house with no existing security system, called AMSA on a Saturday, and had our system installed and running by the following Tuesday afternoon. Installation was done cleanly and professionally. Angela did a great job explaining what we needed to protect our home and what the pricing options were. Thanks!

These people are great! Just as good as any other alarm company as far as monitoring, and their prices and customer service cannot be beat. We used them at our old house and were very pleased, and then we got them for our new house. I spoke with a wonderful woman on the phone who transferred our services over, had a very knowledgeable technician come out to set up our service, and just recently dealt with Daniel over the phone for support for my keypad, and he was very helpful!! Couldn't be happier with this company. They are affordable, kind, and eager to help in any way they can. I highly recommend them!

I have had AMSA for almost a year now. I really do like their service. I had them call the police out twice when my dog walker set off my alarm. They were very prompt! I couldn't be reached because I was out of town and didn't hear my phone ring. They had called the police so quickly after I didn't answer that I couldn't cancel the police in time. I really love the service at this company. I got a great deal when they were retrofitting the current alarm system I had in place, and I have a great monthly plan at $12.95. I would recommend AMSA and have to my neighborhood.

I have 2 commercial systems that I tried to move to another company since this company was sold. When I tried to move the system, they refused to give us the installer code so that I can have it reprogramed. Because of this I am cancelling my home service also.

Angela at AMSA has been fantastic in communication, delivering on promises, dealing with rescheduled installs and answer all our questions. The installer, John K, was incredible -- professional, knowledgeable and did a big, fantastic install job. Couple that with their great pricing and we couldn't be any happier! Jeff

Just had their service installed. Very impressed with the phone customer service and sales rep. Installer was on time and professional. He did leave my old alarm unit behind for me to dispose of which was disappointing but the quality and value seem to be good so far.

Thank you for the kind words about your service experience with our company. Regarding your old equipment, we used to always take it and dispose of it through recycling. Then we had a number of clients over a short period of time tell us that this was their equipment and we were not to remove it from the premises. So now, as policy, we leave it behind unless requested to do otherwise. We're sorry for any incovenience this may have caused and we look forward to protecting your home and family.
The monthly cost of monitoring puts all of their competitors to shame. The service department does everything they can over the phone to prevent unnecessary house calls. This is the best value and most customer oriented utility we use. We recommend this company without reservation.

I was a customer for 5 years and requested service be canceled due to a move. Instead of using my forwarding address to send my refund, they used it to send me another bill for 3 more months of service. It took a full day of phone calls and email to get a supposed resolution. Still not sure the issue has been resolved, but I can say that our new alarm will NOT be monitored through AMSA as a result.

I'm very sorry that you had a problem with this. It has always been our policy to terminate a clients agreement should they move and refund any credit that they may have on their account. This is the first issue that I've ever heard of concerning this type of request as its typically a very painless process. If it is still not resolved to your satisfaction please call me. We decided to upgrade our security system to cellular. The National company we were with, were going to charge a lot more for the monitoring and equipment. We have now been with AMSA for 2 years and have been very pleased with the service. I have set off the alarm numerous times. They call immediately. We have also been on vacation and our pet sitters were not able to get in. We call AMSA, give them our codes and the sitters have been able to enter, even though the alarm goes off. The installers were very professional and went over the new system/keypad extensively. We have been very happy with AMSA.

being that they give you a discount to write a good review should be telling. After they have your business and install - you're pretty much on your own. With the cell service there is no way of telling if your system is working unless you set it off and hope they call. Not sure how long was out for and how long we paid for nothing. Anyway they then will charge you a bunch to come out and fix their faulty crap - no sorry - as they put it's - "my" faulty crap now... It's too bad they don't stand by the equipment they require you to use. Anyway - for A LOT less you can get a camera with motion detection - it emails you photos when tripped. And you can now get them with battery backup and 4G service. And anyway - by the time a monitoring service calls 911 - and they call APD - and show up over an hour later - your tv is already long gone.

First, we DO NOT pay clients to incentivize them to write good reviews, for two reasons. One, its highly unethical and two we don't need to as our reputation across all consumer sites is excellent and we work hard every day to keep it that way. Im not sure where you got that from but you were misinformed. Second, we are diligent in so many ways (how-to test card left by installer, periodic mailers, printed on every invoice) in informing our clients that they should test their systems functions on a regular basis. If a defect is discovered then you call our service department. If it is determined that there is a problem and your system is out of warranty we let you know up front what those charges should be, just like any other service company would do. Ours is the longest standard warranty in the industry. Our service rates are among the lowest. Depending on the system you have installed we use either Honeywell or Uplink cellular communicators, the best you can get. No ones been "ripped off" here. And last I hope that you don't take your own advice about a motion/camera/cell device as your home security solution. Home security is about deterrence and what drives a burglar away is a very loud siren and the knowledge that the police have been called, not a covert camera that may or may not see them in the home. That solution puts lives in danger.
Installer was very professional and didn't try to sell me additional services or equipment. Would definitely recommend them! Thankfully haven't had to use the service in an emergency so I don't know how well they respond.
