I retained Mr. Alavi to represent me at three hearing TPO, EVICTIONS, and CRIMINAL WARRANT.

He did NOT show up for the hearings. His so called assistant claimed she tried to reach him via text; for over 3 weeks.

The judges as the hearing made me represent myself.

Long story short; I have had to file a dispute with my bank for payments made to Mr. Alavi. I have initiated a complaint with the GA Bar; I am waiting for the paperwork on that.

I thought I could trust this guy; I was SADLY mistaken!!! RUN AWAY DO NOT HIRE HIM.

I got a TPO issued against me
I got evicted
I have criminal charges pending

This guy REALLY fooled me wow!!!!!

I dont even know where to begin. As I read the other reviews, I felt the EXACT same as the people below.
Im on my 5th!!! pre trial now because every single time hes supposed to show up, he has someone fax something to the courts saying hes got "sick children, or hes busy.
Not only will he not show up, but i've been trying to contact him for months!! He used to have receptionists at his office,not anymore, all calls to his office are forwarded to a lady named Kim Pruit. Not only is this lady EXTREMELY rude, but she will lie for Mr. Alavi and come up with every excuse in the world on why he cant call me back and why hes not there.
I paid them 10,000 dollars!!!!!!!! Now I am left with no money and no lawyer. As usual in the beginning he promised me all sorts of things.
I now have to find a new lawyer and somehow come up with MORE money. This guy is a FRAUD. PLease, for the love of god do not pay this guy any money for representation.
I wonder who wrote those rave reviews?

I want to band together with all the other victims.

Expect a revolving door of representation if your case goes on beyond a couple of months, each knowing less about the matter than the last. Follow through is poor and communications is purely client driven. Run away.
