This store is pretty small and pretty ghetto, but in the area there isnt a lot that is better. Across the street is a Vons that is possibly MORE ghetto, so unless you wish to drive to North Park for gorceries, its basically your best bet.

I have never shopped at a more friendly grocery store. Kooky, the store Manager always greets me with a friendly hello and a big hug. I love the family atmosphere. If what Im looking for isnt on the shelves they try to order it. More stores should take the time to know their customers a bit, it gives a good impression of the store and its employees. I have the option to shop somewhere else but I dont.

I've been going to this location for years. Not just because I live so close, but because I've come to enjoy the service I receive from the employees there. They know how to show appreciation to their customers. The store is always clean and well-stocked. I have often purchased birthday cakes from the bakery and I frequent the deli often. I love this store.
