Found Alexandar's on a groupon deal. I am so impressed. Crystal was my stylist and really seemed to understand what I wanted. She was very professional and I totally trusted her opinions, techniques and coloring ability. I will definitely return!

If you are looking for a guy who can transform your look and give you the best haircut as far as technique is concerned, Alex is your guy. He is a highly skilled artist that has the gift of relieving you of any concern about the outcome of your cut, color or styling. He is always ahead of trends and follows what is happening in high fashion/ Europe and is able to translate that look for everyday wear. I HIGHLY recommend Alex. This is not Costco so do not expect volune discount. This is truly a la carte. Also, he is fantastic at styling men. Enjoy, Sasha

For years I had been searching for salons in Atlanta that didn't serve 20 clients at one time. This salon is completely different. There is usually only 4 other clients there, so you get all the attention you deserve. Carrie Ann is amazing. I get a differnt cut and color each time and I've loved every single style/color. I will never go anywhere else.

Kerri Ann is an artisan of her craft. She is exceptionally trained and highly skilled -- and has a GREAT personality, to boot. I have short hair and have always hated having to go back for tons of maintenance cuts. Kerri Ann's attention to detail assures the customer that not only will the cut be phenomenal, but also it will grow out well. She won me over from my stylist of 10+ years.

I went here because a colleague recommended me to Alexandar. I went during lunch and he was supposed to cut & color my hair...almost 4 hours and 400.00 later, I was outraged! He did 3 cuts in between my cut...so i basically sat there like an idiot while he cut other people's hair. My color story was similar, I have never sat with foils for longer than 1/2 hr because I have light hair to begin with and my hair takes color like a sponge. He was very nice and talkative and I kept telling him I had to get back to work. I found the place very sterile and pretentious, for and okay cut and color that was okay. 4 hours?

I live in Sarasota and was visiting my daughter who insisted I see Alexander for a complete new updated look. I am in my fifties with naturally curly hair. Alexander did such a phenomanal job I was totally blown away. When I got back to work, everyone stopped me and told me how beautiful my hair was and that it took 10 years off. Alexander and his staff are true professionals and extremely warm and gracious. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to make a change in their appearance. He is a "TRUE HAIR ARTIST".

I don't want to go against what looks like a whitewash of support for this salon, but I had a bad experience. (Why does every other poster for this salon have only 'one' review on this site, the review of this salon?) With an attempt to be fair, here are the facts: Called the salon after a year of being out of town. I had one other cut here, before leaving, and I remember it being pretty good (by Alexandar). Since I needed a good haircut for an upcoming special occasion, I brought some pictures of the style I wanted, to be extra careful. And, I repeated over and over: "please don't care my hair too short," and "I would rather you cut too little than too much." Unfortunately, the cut was pretty ended up as the opposite of what I wanted. Despite an exact conversation of what parts to leave long, those parts were cut short, and the part to cut short was left long. Very dissatisfied! (To his credit, I believe Alexandar knew he did something wrong during the cut, as he gasped and left for a couple of minutes during the cut to "get some water.") Just the facts here, I won't provide any speculation, but I am not pleased, especially since I went to great lengths to prevent this from happening. (isn't that especially irritating?) I'm not checking back for salon response , but if the customer isn't happy with the haircut, isn't that the only thing that really counts? The salon decor IS cool; sorry this is unfavorable, but the cut has looked worse each day since.

My first visit to Alexandar Salon was well over a year ago. After a while I thought I could get the same service and quality elsewhere, but I was wrong. So I recently did "the crawl back" and Alexandar greeted me with open arms. He is hands down the most talented colorist and stylist in the city! If you are tired of messing around and want to look your best, Alexandar Salon is a must! The rest of his staff is fabulous also, very welcoming and friendly!!

I just recently started going to Alexandar Salon and am so happy I did. Crystal is so great with my color (it can be tricky)-- I feel like a million bucks when I leave and the ENTIRE team is warm and welcoming. Not a stuffy environment at all. Crystal and the whole team are GREAT!!!

Alexandar, Keri and the rest of the Alexandar Salon team will make you feel like a perfect 10 every time, without all of the fuss of typical Buckhead Salons. You are treated like family, offered a something to drink and there is always chocolate to indulge in while listening to eclectic international tunes. Rather than processing their customers like a factory, they take time to get to know you, your style and overall vision. Then, they make it happen. They make you feel as gorgeous as you already are! My favorite part is being greeted by Alexandar when he says, "Hello gorgeous!" He means it. So ladies and gents, ditch the other stuffy Buckhead salons and give this incredibly fun, chic, but relaxed salon a chance to do their magic on you!

I first walked into Alexandar's a year ago and it was the best thing i could've done for my hair and happiness. I left "my guy" of many, many years to try Alexandar. Glad I did. He gives me the best cut . .it continues to look fresh many weeks later. I get compliments everywhere I go. (i now keep a stack of his business cards with me!) He's a genius with color and highlights too.

I will admit that I was a little nervous about visiting Alexandar as I have naturally curly ethnic hair. Alexandar admitted that he only had one client with ethnic hair but that he learns quickly. My highlights are gorgeous!! And Alex knows how to work a flat iron!! I loved my overall experience and would definitely return. Although Alexandar Salon is quite upscale and pricey, the investment is well worth it. There is nothing snobbish about this environment as it does not matter if you make 50k a year or 500k a year; everyone is treated equally. Alex believes that people are people. He is great to work with and he is very honest about what he thinks would compliment a person's appearance. The staff is wonderful and friendly! This is not a volume based salon so you will receive very close and personal attention. You will love Alex and you will truly be impressed with your overall experience. The complementary valet parking and beverage service is also a nice gesture.

I came for the first time, when I was early for a lunch at Seasons52. Alexander was great, had no time, but did a quick trim, did not charge and I came back later in the week. Cut was great, Color was best in the city. I have been a loyal customer ever since. ( last year). GREAT PEOPLE.

What a great place!! The first time I stepped in the door I could feel the energy of the salon. The owner Aleksandar greeted me personally, and told me a little about the salon and his background in the industry. From the moment I walked in to the time I left it was a first class experience. Aleksandar is the Tiger Woods of the salon industry, his passion and dedication shows in his work. I've lived in Atlanta for 6 years and have continually been disappointed in every salon I have tried. I am a guy with a little style and wanted to feel confident that when I left a salon that I was not going to walk out with a buzz cut or some sort of a high and tight. This place is worry free and you walk out feeling like a million dollars every time. My haircut was exactly what I wanted, and if you want they will even give you beer, cocktails or wine (you have to love that). Alexandar Salon is a very upbeat place but personal experience, and I recommend it to anybody that wants the very best!
