They need to rename this place to Horrible Haircuts. When a place puts the word "Barber" in its name, I immediately think of people that know how to properly cut men's hair. I decided to give this place a try since it was close to my house and I will never return. The people are friendly but they are not barbers. They do not do any blade clean up using shaving cream. I asked for a zero head shave and what I got was some faux hair cut that was nowhere near a zero or even a one clipper cut. But I hear they are already renaming this place so they can trick people into coming again.

I have been going to All American Barber shop since 1995 and have never gone anywhere else since. My main location is the site on Mission Ave but I have also gone to the site in Vista off Bobier and Vista Way when I lived out in Vista for a year or so. I actually moved to Las Vegas for a year as well and since I came back here to Oceanside almost every 2 weeks, I'd wait until I came here to get my fade. I tried getting a fade out there by 2 different places and NO ONE can top the All American barbers in my opinion. Not only do they give me a sik fade, but it has the movie-like home feel. The barber's grow a personal relationship with you and there are randon free-spirited group conversation at times. All the barber's are great, my personal choice is Mike because he's been cutting my hair since he came on board and knows exactly how i want it. Number 1 barber shop ;o)

My husband and son would go here all the time. They were great. My son used to be afraid to get his haircut, but they took the time to make him feel comfortable and now he is great with getting it cut. They also have good prices. Mostly on the weekends there is a wait, usually not too bad though. I would definitely recommend it!!

I have been using All American before and after I got out of the Marines. They wait is usually reasonable and they have decent prices. I have never stuck with just one barber, I just take whoever is available and haven't been disappointed.

If you don't want to wait in line on base, you can almost always walk in for a good hair cut. Plus, they only charge 6 bucks for a military cut. I also bring my kids in and they do great! All the barbers are friendly and they will take care of you.

If you just want a plain haircut, guys, this is the place to go in Oceanside. Yes they have a lot of military clientele - but they do a lot mroe than military haircuts. Hardly ever a wait, except on Sat. mornings. They've had my business for years.
