After paying a huge deposit and reviewing my estimate I tried several times with at least 2 people at this company to update my estimate. No one ever acknowledged my request. I ended up being over that estimate by a significant amount. The moving company was 2 days late picking up my household goods, I was offered compensation for my trouble, I'm still waiting for a portion of that compensation more than a month later. I am also missing a large box containing some irreplaceable items. I mentioned the box to my "customer care" rep within a week after delivery, I mentioned it another 5 or 6 times over the next THREE WEEKS. Finally she asked the moving company and was told it was too late to track down my box, and besides I had supposedly checked off everything on the inventory. The one I never saw or held. The only piece of paper I have from the drop off is the weigh ticket from the scale they went to on the way to my house. There was someone else's household goods on that truck, how do I know they didn't add theirs to my weight? I feel ripped off, angry and very sad that I lost some precious items. I wish I had read more reviews before I paid this company the huge deposit they required. I then felt "locked in" and like I couldn't go somewhere else. I will be moving again, and I will NOT use this company, and will make sure I tell anyone that will listen how horrible they are.

on the day of move I learned moving was subcontracted out to a firm I've never heard of and therefore could not have investigated. 2. The list of articles to move that I sent out was not the list the movers showed up with. -This caused a price increase because I "added" to the list of items to be moved, despite the items being listed on an earlier "version" of inventory. 3. Movers broke itemS even before they got them into moving truck. 4. Cost of move increased three times. 5. A post-delivery conversation with an Allstate agent seemed to indicate that the subcontractor over-billed me. 6. At seven hours after delivery, about four different people were supposed to have known of- or indicated on a form, -the breakage, and yet a follow-up call from an Allstate agent seemed to indicate there was no mention of it on my account. 7. Organization seemed lacking. There were about four different people whom you may need to contact, and each only dealt with a specific aspect, without giving clear indication/access numbers for whom should be contacted at what point. 8. When items were delivered the mover prevented me from listing the damages, despite his knowing of them and his taking picture(s). See the "Interstate bill of lading contract" for shipper obligations in regards to damages. Only after I refused to sign off on the contract if I couldn't make notations, did he relent. 9. After all was done, the price was almost double. bad experience

Save your time and look for someone else these guys are the biggest scammers around they will raise your amounts ten times and they call f rated company's to pick up your stuff

We hired this company to move a small amount of our Dad's items from TN to CO. Supposed to be a 7-12 day move, but it took 7 weeks for us to get the items. They charged us the full amount of the move, less $250. Communication was also less than stellar. Dad died while waiting for his items, but they didn't much care. There were also issues with weights when they picked up the items. Had to have them re-weigh the truck before they loaded. We do not recommend them. Only giving one star, as that is the lowest option. Would be zero, if possible.

They were not the most inexpensive option but they facilitated all of the services I needed. The gentleman that gave me the ball park price for my move did a great job assessing how much it would cost and he was up front with me about it. Honesty goes a long way with me. I have moved a few times across the country this was one of my better experiences. They did arrive a couple of days early for the delivery but it wasnt a problem I was already at my new home in Boca raton.

This company was a contender, based on price - until I received an email that changed my surname to O'hoebag. Customer service is sending the email to management so it can be addressed with the jerk who sent it. Even so, I wasn't going to use them based on that alone. But after reading these reviews and seeing the pics, there's no way I would ever even consider them. Yikes!

I would recommend using All State Van Lines with caution. I had a very stressful time with the company. There was a lack of communication and things were promised that never happened. The contracted company, Quality relocation, is completely unprofessional and shady/questionable. If you're to deal with them, just say no, for your own sake. The move went very unsuccessfully with water damage due to negligence on arrival and being overcharged by over $900. I tried several times to get my issues resolved but would get the run around and would often times not get a response. I finally got my check for the overcharge and am waiting on the additional ins payout. This went on for several weeks until upper management contacted me. The woman I spoke to offered an apology and offered a $750 customer service refund. She assured me that Quality relocation is on a freeze from business unless they do retraining and told me that there would be an internal audit to correct the communication problems. If you're to do business with All State make sure you read all the paperwork in full and verify all info given. Also I would recommend being there in person for the weigh ins and getting additional insurance.

Don't do it! They hire third parties and break everything!! Horrible!! My mistake was to Hire them before reading the bad reviews!
They moved my stuff frim NJ to Florida. They broke dishes, ruined my bedroom furniture!! Don't do it!

This was the worst moving experience I have ever had. They give an initial low estimate and then increase the price constantly when it gets close to the move. Communication from the company about time lines of the move was terrible. Also an expensive dining room table arrived in pieces, along with multiple other items damaged or missing. The company then refused to do anything about all the damaged items and poor service. To anyone reading this, please do not ever book this company. I do not want anyone else to have the same horrible experience I had.

Beware the quote! When I got the quote for moving a 3-bed rooms, the quote was about $4000, which was reasonable when compared to others I asked. However, when the movers came, they asked me to sign a new contract, indicating the moving expenses depended on a estimate weight of 8500 pounds. The guy did tell me that the actual expenses depended the actual weights after uploading. I had no idea how to convert the household weights to pounds but I believed the quote I got should reflect approximately weights I might had. The final price was almost $9000, which was more expensive than the original quote. I was threatened to pay the waiting fee or they would put my stuffs to the storage..... my realtor who is very experience said she never heard $9000 for moving a 3-bed rooms. She tried to call the company to query why the final price was so different from the original quote. The representative of the moving company told me that the final price depended on the actual weight and my stuffs seemed to be "double" than the original estimate. I told her that (1) I had no idea how to convert the household to "pounds" and the moving company should had a much better knowledge to estimate the moving expenses and (2) it was not possible that I "doubled" my stuffs when I decided to move. I paid the balance using the credit card in order to get my furniture and stuffs.

I have NEVER experienced such a lack of professionalism, incompetency and lack of ethics, empathy and morals until I encountered individuals who worked for and with this company. My moving nightmare is too horrific and detailed to fully describe, so I will briefly explain why this company should not be allowed to service anyone! My experience was/is the following: movers (hired by All State Van Lines Relocation) arrived and immediately attempted to get me to fire All State Van Lines and hire them (scam), movers damaged marble floors and carpet, threw trash and broken glass in yard, left boxes and other packing items in yard, movers were extremely rude and demeaning, literally threw items in boxes without wrapping, threw varied and numerous items in boxes without labeling boxes (ex: all kitchen items were thrown in boxes with other items), movers informed me that trucks were full with my items and that there wasn't room for my additional unpacked items and when I looked inside trucks- someone else's items were in one truck with mine (but I'm supposed to pay for the full truck) and packaging for another move was in the other truck, second truck arrived almost two weeks late and when I contacted the company- I was told that they could not get in contact with the driver, when second driver finally arrived- he did not have ANYONE to assist him in unpacking or setting up our furniture
( he asked if we knew anyone who could help), because we had been subject to scams, unprofessionalism and neglect- we had to meet the first driver at a weigh station miles from our home to ensure we were not being overcharged and we followed the second driver to the same weigh station which was a total inconvenience but well worth it because they had overcharged us by $5,000 plus!! Numerous items (both valuable and treasured/prized) were damaged or destroyed. I'm out of # of words to continue!

had the worst experience with them. Our furnitures were damaged, and when asked those guys were not even ready to listen, he kept moving. They were not even ready to bring our stuffs up as he said he wants the cash and only then he will bring the things up (even when told my husband was on the way to bank).

This moving company is the worst. They are totally unprofessional. First they told me my move would cost 1848. then they called and added an additional $1000.. Then they told me they would pick up my stuff on one day then they said they made a mistake and it wasnt for 2 days later. they gave me a four hour window of when they would arrive. i doubt that they will even show up within the window.

I moved with All States for twice in last 2 years, they did an excellent job this time. They were skilled professionals and were polite, kept me informed all the times during the move on ETA. I give them 5 stars for sure. Job#: 11029224-06-A

This company is horrible. The movers they "brokered" were late, damaged my items, lost items and mixed my items with someone else's. I have sent a complaint and a claim and have heard nothing from them...do NOT USE them.
