Alliance Ob Gyn PC

Well, to be fair, the group is well equipped and both Dr. Bill and Hsiao are super nice. However, my complaint comes from another angle: claim processing.

The office does not consult me regarding the tests they are doing. I recieved a bill from an out-of-network lab originally charging me approx. $3K. However "due to agreement with the office", the lab has agreed to ask for a co-payment of $25 only. FISHY!!!
FYI, the test is supposed to screen for rare genetic mutations (not Down syndromes etc) but most of the examples I were told are diseases causing premature death of babies or non-death treatening symptons that will be discovered anyway after birth.

I called the claim officer Kay for an answer and was transferred to Julie, the wife of Dr. Bill. I tried to tell her that anything out-of-network should need my approval first and asked to remove the co-payment because I have never been consulted for the test. I am afraid that the thing could snowball if the office keep sending my tests to out-of-network practices. Julie called me "shameful" to bring up the issue and only agreed to discuss the issue with Dr. Hsiao without admiting this is their flaw in practice.

I work at large primary care practice in the same building as Alliance. The doctors, PA's, and nurses all go to and recommend Alliance. We send our patients there and they come back happy and cured. I switched to them when my gyn said I needed a hysterectomy and wanted to make a big incision. Dr. Bills did it with one incision in my belly button and you can't even see it. I was back to work in a week!

Julie, Dr. Bill's wife who is the Office Manager has a superiority complex. It's all about her, and not patient care. They made several mistakes with handling labs. Patient's have the right to be upset when their providers staff makes mistakes, and don't deserve to be talked down to for being upset. Working in the health care industry, I know that your patients are your livelihood. There are plenty of other top notch OB/GYN's in Atlanta, and when you make a choice over another practice, you should be valued by that practice. I strongly urge anyone to think twice before choosing this practice.

DRs in practice do not have a grasp on pregnancy.did not know what was going on with their patient. spoke down to the patient.would not consider other complications. physical aliments were treated as psychological issues. their complacency almost cost my wife her life. thankful baby and mom are great

I saw Dr Bashuk for my annual pap smear after finding him through United Healthcare's "find a provider" tool and I couldn't be happier!! The front office staff was friendly and courteous as was the nurse I met with. And Dr Bashuk was just fantastic. First, I met with him in his office before the exam and he talked with me about my history and so forth. And he was the first doctor to ever recommend something for my long, painful periods caused by my IUD. I feel like he really listened to me and genuinely cared for me as a patient. He made me feel very comfortable during the exam and afterwards gave me all the instructions for calling LabCorp directly to get my results. Overall, it was the best experience I have ever had at a gym appt. I've definately found my gyn dr for life!!!! And as a plus, I was in and out of the office in about an hour. Can't beat that!!!!:))
