I took my son here last night. We wanted to check it out because it always looks so packed. Maybe they have a great breakfast and thats why but we won't be finding out because it was so dirty. My... son liked his burger ok buy my food was terrible. The meatloaf I'm pretty sure is cheap beef with canned spaghetti sauce poured over it. The mashed potatos were ok but the gravy had no flavor and I couldn't even eat the sqaush caserole...it tasted like they baked rotten squaush. We got our meals fast but the service was lacking. The waiter was aloof at best and I heard the table next to me ask for bread that per the menu comes with the meals and he acted like it was an issue...so I didn't even ask for any even though it was supposed to come with my dinner also. I just couldn't wait to get out of there. I should have left when my son opened his menu and the pages were stuck together. GROSS!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Saw their inspection history on line. This place is nasty. How were they operating when you were last there with your kids? How will they be operating in a few months? It really ticks me off... that I ever ate here. - Mar 3, 2011: Score: 91, Grade: A - Feb 25, 2011: Score: 52, Grade: U (these are highlights, there were 19 other items) *heavy black grease dripping from all 4 hood vents. *ice machine with pink and black debris. *employee wiping his face and blowing nose with bottom his apron. *ice cream scoop in dirty standing water on the counter. *baby roaches crawling on the prep table with cold items (carrot raisin salad, cole slaw) - Nov 13, 2009: Score: 78, Grade: C - Sep 22, 2009: Score: 92, Grade: A - Sep 15, 2009: Score: 71, Grade: CVIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

You gotta eat at this place. it's a favorite of the locals and they've got great food.
Over the years portion size has stayed the same while price has gown up. I know itís a product of our time, but their prices seem to be rising quicker then other restaurants in the same category.
I've only tried their breakfast menu, but it was VERY good. Great place to come on the weekend for a great morning meal. Typical diner type atmosphere with a local flavor.
I think the title sums it up. Over the last 5 years I have eaten there once a month or so. They have slipped in quality and portion size. The prices have not slipped. I still go, but not nearly as often. Now it is usually when my friends want to go there.
The restaurant was too crowded for Sunday brunch. Service was not very good.
I enjoy the food and the laid-back environment. But their prices seem to have gotten a little high, considering it's a meat & 2 veg type place. There are other places close by that serve the same food for a fraction of the price.
I have had milkshakes from all over the U.S.A. but the best one I have found are served here. They also make great sandwiches.
I've eaten at Alpha Soda many many times. Their service is always great. If you eat at the restaurant, expect great food. Now, I have had a few minor problems with orders that I have phoned in, but eating at the restaurant is always a A+ experience. I thouroghly reccomend trying Alpha Soda and their delicious food.
Great old fashion 'comfort food', wonderful service and very clean.
for breakfast! Great for breakfast meetings. You can eat what you want - full breakfast (eggs, bacon, toast, grits, etc) or you can eat to impress the guy you are trying to get to hire you ("I'll have just the fruit bowl and decaf, thanks ma'am").
Good service, staff is friendly and food is very good. Like the daily specials
Not as good as the old soda in downtown Alpharetta, but still a fun place to eat. Good service and fair prices.
Great for a sunday morning after church. The best Brunch in Alpharetta.
I've been eating at the Alph Soda for years. Great food. The owners are great people who treat customers right!
