Called Saturday, was told to make appointment for Monday. Monday rolls around, tech checks the a/c and tells me my heat pump is broken. He tells me he needs to replace it, and the part is 120. Okay, I have no idea how much a/c parts cost, so I agree to pay for labor and the part. Invoice comes and it says 240 volt CONTACTOR replaced. Looked it up on the web and they should cost like 20 bucks! Making matters worse, the a/c broke down again in about 6 hours. Finally, even though invoice says 30 day warranty, the company hasn't returned any of my phone calls (let alone done any warranty work), so basically nothing was fixed and now there's a big charge on my credit card. STAY AWAY.

I called first thing Saturday morning and they were there in about an hour. He fixed the problem quickly and replaced a couple parts that were worn out. Did not try and sell things that were not needed. Very reasonable prices and the AC works better than it has in years.

They came highly recommended for their service and they went over and beyond what was expected.I will tell you to call them first before you call any one else.They are honest and will tell you up front what is wrong.They are more than reasonable on their prices. They are truly the best!

I called lastnight (Wed) with an absolute emergency. We have a dog that cannot be in the heat. Our air conditioner totally stopped working. I called Amcool - Johnny was out within an hour and got us up and going in a matter of 30 mins. If you read this review Johnny, thank you for your compassion getting out here so fast! You have most certainly earned a customer for life - and I will tell anyone I know with ac problems to call Amcool. --

Our furnace blower broke in the middle of the night. We contacted A.M. Cool and Johnny the technician arrived shortly afterwards. He was able to determine the exact cause of the problem and come up with a fix that cost us hundreds less. We will use A.M. Cool again in the future because we value good service and honesty.

Took the day off from work on May 13, 2009 and called three AC companies. Left messages on two, one said they could be there in a day or two! Looked here on Kudzu and found AmCool. I'm glad I did. They said they could be there that afternoon. John came, diagnosed the problem, had a part on his truck and fixed it in less than an hour. Very Friendly, Prompt, Knowledgeable Service. I HIGHLY recommend

We came home to a 90 degree house. My husband found this company and contacted them to come service our AC. AmCool was at our house at 700pm and figured out what was wrong immediately. He had the part with him and fixed it, then checked out our system the attic. The price was very reasonable. The service personal was very friendly and personable. I would highly recommend this company for service.

I had issues with my air conditioning for a week and had other companies say they were going to come out but never showed up, or even called. Then I called Am Cool; I immediately got in touch with a professional(Jonathan), and they came out within the time they promised. My problem was diagnosed, quoted, and fixed quickly. The technician was very polite. Now my A/C works better then ever. I would recommend these guys for anybody out there that has had a bad experience with other companies.

My air conditioning stopped producing cold air and started to act like a heater. I had no idea what to do. A friend knew of Am Cool and recommended them to me. I called, and my unit was fixed the next day. I'm very impressed with the professionalism and fast work. I would recommend them to anyone.

A technician by the name of Charlie came to our house, nice guy and very knowledgeable but at first he said he would give me a quote but then he did the work without my authorization and charged me $ 250 to clean my air conditioning units. I felt taken advantage of because I requested a price quote before he did the work. My only advice with dealing with AM Cool are three things 1) get a quote 2) get a quote 3) get a quote.

My A/C had been on the fritz for several days. I tried getting it to work on my own, to no avail. I tried calling the guy I had used before but he was on vacation. Called his back up guy. At this writing, I still have not heard back from him. I called AM Cool Wednesday morning and by Wednesday afternoon, my A/C was blowing cold air again! I would highly recommend this company with any type of A/C trouble. I have already passed their business cards out to my friends at work. Thanks again for your help on such a hot day!

Our air conditioner was out for 2 days when I called AM COOL. It was a Sunday about 10am, they called back by 11am,came out to check everything, then left to collect parts and returned with a new system. He was great and honest and by 6pm my house was starting to cool off. I would recommend them to anyone. Honest and Hardworking.
