This doctor is one of the best, especially if you've got a hard-to-diagnose issue. First encountered him when my 17-month-old son had a bizarre rash that no dcotor could figure out. We'd gone to... several doctors at Scottish Rite, numerous dermatologists as well as several pediatricians. They were all baffled. Over the phone, at midnight, I first spoke to Dr. Amador and he nailed the diagnosis without even seeing my child. He sent us to a specialist who said that in 25 yrs, he'd never seen a pediatrician successfully make that diagnosis. Dr. Amador then called me several times over the next few weeks just to check on the progress of my child--how many doctors do that in this day and age?! He is a caring and very, very knowledgeable doctor who stays abreast of all the new developments. I've spoken to a number of pharmacists and specialists who have also said what a great pediatrician he is. He is tapped into all the best pediatric specialists in town and he definitely takes care of his patients.
