I have never been so frustrated in dealing with a doctor's office. I got right in for an initial consultation, but scheduling a colonoscopy has been a nightmare. His people are totally unresponsive. I would have just gone elsewhere, had I not had to pay the specialist co-pay of $50 on my insurance. I really don't want to have to do this again elsewhere, but I guess I will and will contact my credit card company to dispute the payment. Maybe that will open their eyes to the scheduling problem they have at this office?

I needed a fistula repair after being screw up by another doctor. Dr. Ambroze came to my rescue. Created a definitive plan and acted on it! Super doctor, great staff! Dr. McFadden also took great care of me during recovery! If you are looking for a no nonsense, straight forward surgeon you have found him!

I am so happy with Dr. Ambroze and his staff. I was scared to death but had to have a growth removed. Because 2 years ago I went to a different surgeon Dr. Bendrow to the same growth remove and had a horrible experience. I have no idea what he did but months later I was still in great pain. When I saw Dr. Ambroze he explain that it would hurt but he would everything in his power to minimize the pain. I have to tell you I hardly had any pain at all even with several stitches in my anus. I think he is wonderful and have recommend him to several people! Thanks Doc

Dr. Ambroze and his team do a very good job and are always quick to respond to my questions and concerns. Although my procedure hasn't been perfect he and his team have tried very hard to help me improve . I would let him do the surgery on me or any of my family. He is a great surgeon.

I had colon surgery almost seven years back now, plus five years of follow ups. Dr. Ambroze is a great surgeon, just very rough, suffers from poor communications skills and a bit of a God complex. Overall though, He's okay...I just wish he was more reassuring and supportive like Dr. Armstrong.

Despite reading these reviews, I chose Dr. Ambroze for my bowel surgery and I am so glad I did. I can't believe we're talking about the same doctor. Granted, he is matter of fact and to the point, as many surgeons are. But I also found him to be very pleasant, witty, with a good bedside manner. Bottom line, I was looking for a great surgeon and he is that. My surgery went perfectly, no complications, no post op problems. His office is quick to call back. His attending, Klinker is also great.

Who wants to talk about an a-hole, right? Well, he picked the specialty, so HE should. I think he's a smart man and pretty good surgeon, but lousy butt-side manner and hard to get answers out of, even when the questions are quite legit.

I went to see Dr. Ambroze and found him to be offensive! I had multiple concerns about surgery and he failed to address any of them. His only advice to me was you can have the procedure or not it is up to you. After making this statment he felt the conversation was over and proceeded to grab the door while I am still sitting trying to get my mind wrapped around potential surgery. I tried to pose additional questions to him while he was still holding the door and he basically dismissed them as if they were a non-issue. I paid for his time and he his behavior showed me that my money meant nothing to him. If that is how he treated me during the consultation, I don't want to find out how the surgery would go. Needless to say I am going to find another doctor to pursue my care with!

He's done two of mine so far and so far so good. A little more and longer bleeding than before. I got to be seen the same day I called, a quick procedure and then no more hemmorroid. I've got a third one coming up (I think it was behind the second one).
