Not sure I understand all the 5 star reviews. I experienced a typical contracting job where things have to be McGyvered on the spot, some details were done well, some were just good enough, some were barely adequate, overall it works. That's the way it is I think unless you're paying thru the nose.

On some important things they talked it over with me, disappointingly some not. Phone communications were below average.

Price point was better than average.

The A/C was fixed one day after I called. Great service and knowledgable technicians. Would definitely recommend.

AmEn installed my new HVAC/Heat Pump system in Midtown in my absence and I couldn't be more pleased and impressed. Upon returning home after the install I wasn't certain that the service men had actually been there as I did not see the usual home service debris and disarray in my small space. I was amazed to find that my old system had indeed been replaced with my new low-noise, Hi-SEER unit from American Energy. No muss, no fuss, no schedule changes, no repeated phone calls, and no add-on costs; just plain old-fashioned service that used to be the rule and now, alas, has become the exception. I'll definitely call AmEn for any future HVAC equipment or service needs. Thank you, American Energy!

I called this morning at 10:30 and my air conditioning was fixed by 1:30 the same day! The staff was very professional, knowledgeable and quick. American Energy is my heating & air company for life!
