This is a group of professionals. We had 2 guys come out prior to Ameriserve. They were both horrible and just wanted a check for coming out and not being able to fix a generic craftsmen door opener.... Ameriserve came out, took care of the job like well trained professionals.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

Charged my wife over $500 for a 9ft Single Door spring replacement from a Wayne Dalton TorqueMaster to conventional spring. Other firms quoted $350 or less. Ask for a discount and provided other quotes. Never made contact. Poor customer service.

The tech was on time and had the replacement I needed. It would have been nice for him to have serviced my door with the purchase of a new opener, but I guess there would have been a charge for that. But, I was pleased with what was done.
Warranty not that great After new door was installed 4months later had a problem and had to pay service call.
Installed wrong springs...caused door to collapse...finally did make it right...but took too long...
When the garage door broke they were straight out to fix it. But when I needed the repair repaired they couldn't schedule it for 3 weeks because it was warranty work. Just not good enough. On top of it, when they did come the workman was rude to my wife. I will NEVER use these people again and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.
The service technician was very knowledgeable. He explained the problem and quickly repaired it. He also made sure there were no other issues that might give me problems in the future.
I was pleased with the service ftomAmerServ on my heating system. The serviceman made sure I had heat that night and came back two days later with a rare part that was needed to repair my system. He also brought another guy that ensured he was doing the repair correctly.
Was told I would have someone here between 9am-12pm. I received a call around 11:45am, just to be told it would now be between 12pm-2pm. Just received a call from tech. Saying he would be here around 2:20-2:30 and would take about 3 hours to complete. Whole day shot sitting around for my new garage. You set aside the 3hrs you were told when in reality it's a whole day. DO NOT MAKE PLANS IF YOU CHOOSE THIS COMPANY.
'Matt' Gave me a quote at our property early in year as we were preparing to renovate a house . I followed up and confirmed the quote in late July with 'Ryan' as all details for the renovation finally came together .. phoned in again on Tuesday September 2nd to schedule the work and was told 'Michael' the sales manager would call me back in minutes to confirm all ; he never did . I called later in day and left a voice-mail for Michael thinking he hadn't received the message from office staff ; still never called . ...on Thursday September 4th I called Ameriserve and spoke with a supervisor who was "shocked" that I hadnt received back a phone call to schedule the work . Also advised me I would be phoned back by end of week to correct all and schedule the work . One week later / today I have heard nothing from Ameriserve , including from the owner 'Joel' whom I left a voicemail for on Tuesday September 9th I know of no reputable company that allows this type of treatment of customers and people in general and I personally know hundreds of people in the Atlanta GA area . From my decades of local business experience it speaks volumes about their level of integrity and overall character . Above all is a red - warning flag NOT to get involved with them ... shameful to hide behind Dale Caldwell etal as if wearing a halo on their heads. Dale will be contacted about this matter as well as a courtesy to him.
Ameriserv installed our garage opener in Nov 2012, less than 1 1/2 years ago. The Opener on the wall stopped working. We called Ameriserv and they came right out. Within 5 minutes, Matt had identified the problem as a faulty part and replaced the new switch. It worked fine then. The problem came when he presented his bill for $117.00! The part was under warranty so no charge but the company charged $24 for the service call, $89 for the labor, $3 for something, and $1 for energy surcharge. $117 is totally excessive to us and we will be sure to not recommend this company nor use their repair service ever again!
The technician, Taylor was on time, knowledgeable and friendly. The work was completed quickly, and he left my garage door working better than it had been before it broke. The initial price came in high, but Tiffany in customer service and Will in management made it right. I will definitely use them again.
My wooden garage doors weren't opening and closing smoothly so I called AmeriServ requesting a tune up. The technician (Jeremy) wasn't professional. He had this arrogant attitude as if I was wasting his time having him come out. Instead of telling me what was wrong with my doors, he tries to get me to buy two new metal doors for $1000. He says he's giving me a $250 discount, and when I tell him I'll have to think about it and how long would this offer last, he says the company doesn't usually write estimates, so I would have to decide right now. He also tells me it cost AmeriServ $150 just to have him come look at my doors. I eventually turn down the sale, and ask what other options I have. He eventually says he can grease the doors for $89 dollars and that'll solve my problem. I thought he was going to actually make adjustments, tighten bolts, etc, but all he does is pull out a spray can of Zep lubricant and sprays all the rollers and tracks. The doors roll perfectly. Problem solved. I'm upset that I almost got tricked into spending $1000 on doors I didn't need, when he knew perfectly well that all my doors needed was a little lubricant. I'm really upset that I spent $89 for him to spend 2 mins lubricating my doors. A can of Zep at an automotive store cost around $10-$15. Maybe I got a bad technician. Either way, Jeremy represents AmeriServ, and he did a poor job representing them. I would not do business with them again.
Problem-Garage door motor FIVE STARS are not enough for the excellent svc I recd. Jason cld me with an ETA and arrived within that timeframe. He diagnosed the problem and provided good options. The price was right and Jason made sure I was satisfied with the completed work b4 leaving. Thank you again Jason for your kindness and patience.
