I am the Pres of American Pools and I wanted to address the 3 poor reviews. First, we have an excellent service history and have many, many happy references to prove it. I have never heard of the chemical issues damaging tile or burning swimmers or filters blowing up due to ash. I'm sure I would have known about these serious issues. The last complaint I am aware of and it has no basis...we still run the pool. See all her complaints before deciding on the validity of this particular one. I'm always available at 770-638-1665 to discuss our service.

This company is horrendous. They've done a horrible job of cleaning our community pool. You'd think that having them come out 3 times a week we'd have a spotless pool but no. I witnessed one of these so called pool cleanings and all they did was pore chemicals into the pool and use the pool net to pull out the leaves. No vacuuming or scrubbing of the tiles. In my opinion, they aren't worth the trouble or the money.

There is not enough room in this column to discribe how bad these guys are so i will hit the high lights. they ruined my filter system by clogging it with ash. the pool tiles and bottom were distroyed by texcessive pool chemicals and everyone that used my pool had chemical burns and ruined bathing suites. i gave them 3 months to try to correct the problem. after my filter exploded ruining my pump house, i said enough is enough.

Nothing but trouble for the past year with this company. First they dump white chemicals all over a section of our private street by the pool (same block I have to walk my dogs past). I call their company and my association to complain and for revenge my yard has chemicals deposited in areas by the walkway posing a danger to my two small dogs. This results in vet bills of $1050.00 to get my little dog well again, he almost died. After that my 4 ft. spurce tree in a planted island closest to the street starts turning brown and red in patches presenting signs of a very strange sudden death (while new growth had been appearing??) This morning I see none other than the American Pool Service tech's truck SITTING still out in front of MY house with the young man just looking at the little dead tree. I had been told by our HOA president this young man had been upset about my call to his boss and that he had to come back to clean up his mess. Well, Oh boy, he got me back in spades. By the way, none of the young men this company sends out are remotely American. I think this bad seed is Hispanic. There have been Russians, others Eastern countries, South Americans. Almost like they get them off the dock of New York at a pretty cheap price, I guess? Just not house trained.
