I originally wrote a poor review because of dealing with what I thought were misleading sales practices in purchasing the bed. The store manager called me when he was back in the office and went... above and beyond to get the situation rectified. He offered to take back the base and credit the amount back to our store credit card as well as deliver an appropriate replacement that better suits our needs. Thank you Jason.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
I shopped around and I found that they had really great prices especially for what I was looking for. I found a bed and a dining room table and a couple of chairs! The guy that worked with me was... Floyd and he was really nice, he wasn't pushy at all and answered all my questions so overall great experienceVIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

I am now on my 4th bed from this company so I called and spoke to the Duluth store manager after making a reselect again and needing to pay more money again and his response was "They are doing what the warranty requires". So I called corporate and they tell me that they cannot give me a lower price then the sale price! hahaha. Everything is always on sale there! The trick is every time you have to get a "reselect" you have to pay more out! I am over $1,600 in a mattress and they refuse to give me any kind of credit for ANOTHER mattress, they want me to pay more again! I have had a new bed every 6 months to a year and this is ridiculous. I have requested a refund now and I am expecting a call that will say they can't do that either. Yes, the beds have name brands on them, but they are not the quality of another store. Save your money and go to another store. If I had to do it all over I would choose another reputable store for my purchase.

We went to every furniture store near Barrett Pkwy looking for bedroom furniture. The best deal was a set on sale at American Signature, but we opted to get our matress elsewhere. The sales person showed us several bed room sets, but did not mention the set that was on clearance. I'm not sure if that was intentional, since they are probably paid on commission. Anyway, we found the clearance set and got a great deal in the end.
We purchased at this store twice in less than a month. The first time, they didn't deliver a dresser because it was "out of stock" - a fact they failed to mention when we bought. The second time, they only brought the loveseat portion of a sectional - not the sofa. Apparently, someone failed to put a "check" next to the sofa for delivery. Both times, they offered to refund 50% of our delivery charge, but I'd much rather have spent the full delivery fee and had them do their jobs correctly. My experience wasn't any better with Rooms To Go, so I'm starting to think these big box furnitures chains are just plain bad when it comes to service.
I recent bought some furniture a few months ago from the clearance section and got it at a great deal. Knowing stuff in the clearance section are damaged in some way, but the damages were not noticeable and acceptable. Even at regular prices, the prices are still lower than the other stores like Ashley's or Rooms-to-go.
I have bought several pieces of furniture from this place and everything has been great so far. 2 couches, 2 loveseats and a desk. The prices are good. You get better tnan average furniture at a discount price. They rarely have sales. If they do it will be slightly discounted. I can appreciate a consistant lower price. The sales people are irritating. They greet you when you are a few feet inside the door and follow you around the store asking if you are o.k. and if they can help you find something. Typical. Overall good value I would say.
The service was poor, the staff rude, and the product substandard. When you get your damaged furniture home, you will be stuck with it. Do yourself a favor and don't shop at this store!
We have been in our house now for over seven years. We have made several furniture purchases from different places, and the breakfast table/chairs we bought at American Signature has ended up as our worst purchase ever. The piece was slighly damaged when we got it, but I could deal with that, because it was not really visable, but after a month every thing started falling apart. The padding on the charis started comming apart, the wood started pealing. We won't shop there again.
The sales staff swarms you and will try to do anything to get you to buy stuff. I absolutely hate it when sales people swarm you the way they do in this store. I went because the commericals made it look like they had good prices. Turns out everything they were advertising was broken and was in a small room in the back of the store in a "clearance" section. This store defines the reason why so many furniture stores go out of business.

I went to this store in hopes of having a good experience and it was awful. The sales staff is on you as soon as you walk in the door. On this particular day, we were not "hounded". At our leisure, we were able to browse and ask questions along the way. Long story short, we found some furniture that we liked. We were told the part of it would not be available for 2 months, but the table we wanted was the last one & we could get it as a clearance item. When we got the table home, it was damaged. That's right, they switched tables when my husband pick it up and gave us the damaged table. When I went back to the store to find out how much longer the other furniture would be, I was given a diff. date, which was the 3rd date now. I had previously called about the damaged table & was told I could not receive a refund because it was a clearance item. That day in the store, I saw the same table in the same area of the store. Guess what, it wasn't the last one after all AND they charged me full price for a so-called clearance item. I was floored- not only did they switch the item at pick-up, they charged me regular price. After I notified the manager, she refunded $75 with no explanation as to why that happened. I cancelled the full order never to step foot in the doors again. I did contact their corp. office and they apologized, but nothing was done. If you are looking for furniture, don't go to American Signature unless you want to be cheated out of your money.
