American Water / Kinetico

We recently had a Kinetico non-electric potassium based water conditioner installed for our two story 2,000 sq ft home along with the K5 drinking water station Prior to the installation all of our faucets had lime and calcium deposits on them, our water tasted terrible, and had an awful almost sulfuric smell. I did extensive research on filtration systems and Kinetico stood out. The sales rep (Devin) was very professional answered all of our questions and was NOT a high pressure salesperson (which was appreciated). The installers Ron and Dustin were also very professional and exemplary employees. They offered helpful suggestions of where to install our system and did a great job with the installation! We had some problems with our water pressure after the installation. Our builder installed pressure release valve was faulty and not installed properly. The city refused to resolve the issue as it was the builder's responsibility. We wanted the issue resolved quickly because the water pressure was causing our neighbor's pipes to shake throughout his house. Something as simple as taking a shower caused his pipes to rattle violently. Although Kinetico was not at fault the problem was exaggerated by the system and they promptly came out and installed a new pressure release valve. This resolved our problem and our water pressure is better then when the home was first installed! I highly recommend Kinetico!

I've used this company for my rural hill country well water treatment for several years and although they are prompt and courteous, they have one service guy who I dread seeing show up at my door. He has created more problems than he has solved. So ask them to NOT send Steve if you need reliable, trustworthy service.
