Americas Best Value Inn & Suites

My dad and I visited Monterey yesterday and loved our room here. The rooms were large. Shower/Bathroom Greatlots of towels (if need more, just ask). Beds were firm and sheet were comfy. And our room #221 had a fridge and microwave. Lexi and Jay gave us great recommendations for places to eat (including some discount coupons). Our favorite was breakfast at ""Marilyn's"". Fisherman's Wharf is within a 15 minute walk. We will return!...

I reserved a Queen Hot Tub Suite, and looking at the website pics, I thought it was pretty nice. So I was very disappointed when I walked in the room. It's no bigger than a regular sized motel room. Probably smaller. And this was suppose to be a suite. At least the jacuzzi worked. The pictures are very outdated!So it gets worse. Around 11pm we were getting ready to go to bed, and someone started playing their music really loud. So I had enough by midnight, and called the front desk. To make the story short, the motel is right next to apartment complexes, which was where the music was coming from, and they couldn't do anything about it. But from the sounds of it, this is pretty common. The music finally stopped around 1:30am! I'll never stay there again.
