HORRIBLE....LET ME REPEAT MYSELF "HORRIBLE" Customer service! They lie to the customer repeatedly. Charge an arm, leg, and your head for a service ($2000.00 job) don't fix it right..then lie to you more...and then try to collect again for what they didn't fix right to begin with! BE VERY AWARE!!!!!

I have taken my VW 2004 Beetle here several times this year for some rather major repairs. I shopped prices prior to having the repairs done and America's Service Station of Woodstock was about $200 less on one service it needed and $150.00 on another. They are fast to finish repairs for me. They are always polite and use good customer service skills. The waiting area is nice too with wifi offerered along with coffee or tea as well as a vending machine with drinks. Convenient fast food close by too. Helps when you have a long repair with no appt- there is a Burger King and Chic Filet within walking distance. I had a third repair this year and- I spent the afternoon here without an appointment. I received prompt service with constant updates on the repairs. They updated me on the status regarding the extended warranty company I use- thank goodness this last repair was covered under my extended warranty- which they worked with. I drive all the way from Waleska, GA and wouldn't take my car anywhere else!

**** This place is a rip off and full of dishonesty. Stay away **** Took my car in for a simple oil change. As soon as you walk in they try to upsell you on buying a plan of 5 oil changes because their "special" is ending at the end of month. After your car is being worked on, they come into the lobby in a group of 3 or 4 and first use a bit of reverse psychology by telling you your car is the cleanest they've seen in a while so you feel good about yourself but then quickly try to upsell you more services and they try to educate you on why it's important to get those services done. I got my oil change and the next day my car started to stutter or hesitate when I accelerated from a stopped position. This happened for a week so then I call a friend of mine who is an honest and respectable mechanic and sure enough there was a hose that was disconnected. Now, this wasn't a hose that can just come undone on its own. This hose has several clamps that have to be manually disconnected. In other words, America's Service Station mechanics purposely mess around with your car so that you can come in and get your car serviced again all in the name of profit. I have asked other people in the Woodstock area about their experience with this company and they have told me similar stories. Stay away from this place if you want to avoid getting your car messed with and your hard earned money stolen!

Its been a while now, so I can not attest to the recent management, but my previous experiences with this place have been much less than desirable. I had my car in for a check engine light, which was diagnosed as a bad EGR valve. The first thing they did upon doing my diag, was LOSE MY KEY! It was a special key, with a chip inside, and I did not have a spare. SO They had to order me another key, and I had NOTHING TO DRIVE! Only after an insane tirade with the manager of the place did they agree to get me a rental car, after reducing my quote for repairs and assuring me they would do a MUCH better job. So after 4 days with an awfully uncomfortable rental, I get my car back, and had more issues then I started with. Dealing with them was no picnic, nor did I have the time or the patience, so I went elsewhere. So do not trust them, their service, or their warranty on the work they do, LET ALONE WITH YOUR KEY!

Went here for an oil change about 2 months ago when I was in Woodstock and they provided me with excellent service at a reasonable price. Will do business with again.

Like many other posts here, I had a terrible experience. Was under duress as always when the car breaks down. Was quoted a price. Once the work was completed, the bill of sale jumped by 45 percent. To add insult, the original quote was 125 percent higher(!)than what the dealership would have charged.(I found out after the fact. Bad on my part!)Conveniently, the first person quoting was out of town when the Camry was ready for pickup. Was told I needed a brake job. Declined. Found out later I did not need a brake job. Worst case scenario regarding a repair shop. They seemed "nice." Bad call on my part.

I used these guys for several repairs b/c they were very nice, but when they gave me an estimate of $1300.00 dollars for a repair, I called someone else and that same repair was $620.00 !!!!!!!! And that was at a dealership! I will NEVER use them for another repair!

Charges you for diagnostic test. Work done on air conditioning was incomplete and worse than when I took it in. I called another mechanic for my other car and they over charged me over $1,000. Thank goodness I took it elsewhere.

I gave this store a lot of business, and I was generally satisfied most of the time. However, the place changes management every few months, and the service became very erratic. Similar to other reviews, I was told that I had a cracked oil gasket and it would cost $1,500 to repair. Upon second opinion, real repair was about $280. Car running fine 1 yr later. This is only one example of many. I feel betrayed after giving them so much business and referring other customers there.

My husband and I used this America's Service Station a number of times. For Oil Changes, etc, they've been fine -- convenient, nice, etc. My husband is a VERY loyal customer, so when the service manager was really nice to him, we never considered trying anywhere else. However, when it became time to take my car in, they wanted to "fix" a VERY expensive item, saying that the car would not run unless we did this nearly $2,000 repair. Since we didn't have $2,000, we sought a second opinion. It turned out to be a very minor repair. A few hundred dollars later my car was running just fine and 6 months later, there are still no problems. I wouldn't necessarily say they were trying to defraud us -- perhaps it was just a lack of expertise.

First went with a coupon for an oil change & all staff were very friendly and service was done in a timely manner. It was nice that the second time, they did not charge us as there was a mix-up and they put someone else's vehicle first & our pick up time was delayed. However, the third time we went for an issue & the quote for "ALL" that needed to be done was about $750! We did most of these things ourselves for less than $100 and only about 2 hours in work-time, simple stuff like air filter, drain & flushing the radiator, etc(our secondary vehicle is a kick-around car & we paid only $2k for it)! And of course they assured us that most of these 'services' would seriously hinder the operability of our vehicle....I mean PLEEEEEASE! Might use in the future for oil changes & tire rotation, but other services we will find elsewhere for fear of over charging.

Very unhappy with the service here. Took my car in for an oil change and was told I needed to repair a leaking oil gasket that would be around $1000. When I declined and said I would take the car elsewhere, I was asked why, as if that were their business. Took the car to a trusted family mechanic and found out that not only was there no leak, but that several hoses had been disconnected and it looked very much like the car had been purposefully "messed with". Do not recommend.

Been there twice, The were suppose to rotate my tires never did. Always seem like they try to sell something other then what you took the vehicle in for. Brake fluid, tran fluid, or whatever else they can throw in. Had my tran fluid flushed 4 months before I took it up there and they were trying to tell me it looked like it needed it. Took it to two other places afterwards, just for vehicle checkups they never mentioned it, plus I asked afer the check ups, did not mention before.
