I've gone twice to this doc & took my daughter once. She seems to be a good doc but I'm not 100% sure. On my daughter's first visit she wanted to put her on Zoloft, she is 12!!! Of course she may seem depressed. What teen doesn"t having bouts of depression. (I didn't give her those) We scheduled both of our follow up appointments that were w/in 3-4 days of each other. Being ADD I forgot to write it in our schedule, but since they don't call you to remind you (which they did warn me of) we didn't show up. They charged me $160 for each missed appt!!!! Every doc that has a missed appt fee has always stated on their paper work an amount for missing an appt, they don't! Plus the most I've seen for a fee is $50! But wait that's not all when I called to ask for a refill on my meds, that by the way I can't just stop, they asked me to pay my missed appt fee plus a $20 fee to call it in! $180!!!!!! Oh, but they were so kind to cut that into 2 payments of $90. They said they would call it in & call me back when they did. Later, they left me a message saying that they forgot to re-schedule my missed appt. Then there was another one about an hr later that stated that they wouldn't call in my meds in till I re-scheduled. ARE U KIDDING ME!!!! Your gonna hold my much needed meds from me!!!! STAY AWAY OR ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE SIGNING ANYTHING.

This Psychiatrist spent more time with me than any MD ever has in my life! She was extremely knowledgeable and most up to datenot only in psychiatry but in general medicine, in anti aging medicine and complementary natural supplementsshe has went the extra mile in her education and really cares so deeply for her patients..wish all doctors were like her.

Immediately put on hold when I called. Office personnel seemed fairly professional, but couldn't book a new patient appointment for an adolescent for 1 1/2 months. Not many teenagers can wait that long, if it's a dire situation. We can get a different referral to a Dr. that's more accomodating, I believe.

$25 per script if it is needed between appointments! No reminder calls and insane missed appt fees!

My son has been a patient of Dr Amy's for 5+ years. We have never been late or missed an appointment, ever! This past week I took him to her office for our "scheduled" appt only to find out that they had us scheduled for the day before. I pleaded my case, that they made the mistake, but all they cared about was getting their money for the so called missed appt. No concern for my son or getting him into see the doctor at all. Very rude office staff, we won't be back!
