I have used Anderson once before to replace a water heater. Overall, I was happy with the service and the price. However, a year later, I recommended them to my mom and had them come out to replace the angle stop and riser on my toilet. The plumber explained that it would be a difficult job but, he thought it would not be too hard. So, he gave me a price of 190 (instead of 300) which I thought was high but, I was left with the impression it would take some time. Well, it took about 20 minutes total including shutting off the water value, testing the water pressure and the toilet. The price is ridiculous and I feel like I got robbed. Then about 10 minutes later I went into the bathroom and notice that my toilet was leaking water and he had to come back to fix the problem. Not to mention it was way low Wednesdays in which you are suppose to get 15% off the price. But, the invoice was written up with 190 as the discounted price so the original price was over 200 dollars which was not originally quoted. So, I am not sure if this is a gimmick or not. I am sad to write this review as I did have some good luck with them a few years ago. But, at this point, I could not recommend them.

Having just finished Breast Cancer treatment, the heat is very difficult. Anderson's team showed the utmost compassion, service and value while working on my air conditioner. I will not hesitate to use them in the future or refer. Thanks again Dan and thank you to the team of Anderson Plumbing Heating & Air

Recently we used our yearly water heater service from this company. The workman was professional and polite. A few weeks later, we noticed a small leak from the water heater. We called Anderson back and they sent the same person out to help us. He installed a brass fitting and our leak was gone. The speed and quality of these technicians is far beyond any kind of service that we have gotten from large companies from which we have warranties for our appliances. We plan to do all our repairs through Anderson from now on!! Thanks to this company for providing some old-fashioned kind of service :)

EDIT: I am downgrading my review. We voiced our complaints to Anderson during the follow up call and they were not concerned until I wrote this review. I wish Anderson knew that the best way to make a customer happy is to treat them right the FIRST time, not to put them in the position of complaining in order to receive good service.

I bought the Kudzu "Great Deal" for Anderson Plumbing & when we had an issue we knew needed repair (clogged sink), we called them up to use our "deal". The "inspection" consisted of turning on the faucets for a few seconds. There were no suggested recommendations for known problems we have like a slow draining sink or a shower faucet that's loose, the technician didn't even comment on those problems but just moved on from there. When it came to snaking the sink, they charged us $275. This seems really overpriced and unreasonable to me.

I was disappointed that their pricing is so high that the "great deal" wasn't a great deal at all. I asked around and other friends of mine, using licensed/professional plumbers here in San Diego, paid much, much less than that for the same service.

Coming back to read reviews on this site, I feel like some of them must be fake. I'm also shocked to hear that other customers were able to negotiate the pricing. It is unethical of the company to offer a "sliding scale" pricing based on how much the customer nags about it. Most plumbers base their rates on the time it takes.

In a nutshell, our service was fine. Nothing outstanding, nothing terrible--as expected. However, I would be wary of all the glowing reviews here. Anderson follows this board, and it seems odd that vast majority of newer posts are wonderful. Plus, many of the reviews are by people who post 1 time--that in itself is odd. It looks like someone is posting fake reviews in an effort to push down the poor reviews. I seriously doubt people get this jazzed about a heating/plumbing service.
