Hired them to fix a drainage/erosion problem in my yard. Steve is knowledgable and was initially quite prompt, and proposed a great plan to address my issues. It was a big (and lucrative) job. While there, he also orally quoted me on fixing a problem with my deck (two possibilities, a large repair, and a small repair), and followed up with a written quote a few days later on the large repair. His team did a great job on the drainage issue. A few weeks later, I decided a wanted the smaller repair on the deck, one that was less lucrative for the firm. I asked for a detailed quote on this repair. I asked him to also come back and fix a broken underground sprinkler line that they hit. I received.....nothing, no reponse to my emails or phone calls for weeks. I finally received an email reponse from Angela in the office regarding 'why did I needed a detailed quote for the deck?' I explianed I needed in writing what I was paying for, and again, silence, no reply. I guess the deck job would not make enough money for the firm, so it was not worth their time. Moral of the story, if you have a big job that they want to do, I expect they will do a great job. However, do not expect any follow up service. Once they have made their money, they will leave you hanging.

Having discovered an ALD truck on the road, we investigated the company on this site and decided to call for an estimate. Steve came out immediately, and shared his vision for our back yard. We hired Angel Land Designs to contour and grade our back yard, relocate plants, remove trees, add a fence and sprinkler system, and install sod. Steve was knowledgeable and the crews were polite and respectful. Although there were some glitches along the way, we were thrilled with the end result. Within a few weeks, despite our strict adherance to the watering plan, we lost all the sod in our backyard. Steve responded to our first call suggesting that we had sod web worms. However, based on internet research and a second landscape consult (with another firm), we discovered our grass had been eaten by Army Worms. We contacted Steve again to request his sod supplier's contact info and to see if he would come out and assess the damage. We have called twice and sent three emails. Buyer beware... while we greatly appreciated the up front (and are hopeful that our sod root system will recover), the follow up has brought the integrity of the firm into question.
